Six-driver array for immersive sound Engineered for highly immersive sound, the Denon Home 400 features built-in ‘height’ speakers. Combined with Dolby Atmos compatibility, this ensures sound with true dimensionality, for room-filling audio. The other drivers include wide-range tweeters and 4.5” woofers, ensuring spacious detail and a rich bass presence.

Powered by HEOS Controlling the Home 400 is simple with the free HEOS app. This user-friendly app uses three main tabs that feature at all times - Rooms, Music and Now Playing. You can listen to the same music in every room or different music in different rooms. The app also lets you group HEOS compatible devices such as soundbars and AV receivers, for totally connected home audio.
HEOS – a complete ecosystem The HEOS multiroom ecosystem lets you seamlessly configure up to 64 zones of sound – enough for even the largest mansions. Start with a single speaker and then build up a multiroom system to your exact requirements. With many hi-fi and home cinema amplifiers also featuring HEOS built in, it’s even easier to incorporate your entire home entertainment system into the HEOS family.
Stream your way – Connect, AirPlay 2, Roon and more As well as the HEOS app, you can also choose to stream via other platforms. Qobuz Connect and TIDAL Connect seamlessly link to the popular music apps, while AirPlay 2 makes this Denon speaker ideal for Apple users. As a Roon Ready speaker, the Home 400 can also be configured within a multi-brand, multiroom high-resolution Roon system. For quick and easy device pairing, there’s also Bluetooth onboard.
Stereo pairing and home cinema speaker options Buy a second Home 400 and you can configure a true stereo speaker system – all via the HEOS app. Stereo sound doesn’t just give you a bigger sound, it also more accurately reflects the soundstage of a live music recording – making you feel like you’re actually ‘there’ in the room. Pair up with the Denon Sound Bar 550 and Denon Home Subwoofer, and you’ve got a 5.1 home cinema system, with the Home 400 as Dolby Atmos compatible rear speakers.
Voice activation Featuring a built-in microphone, the Home 400 is compatible with voice assistant systems via Alexa and Siri. This lets you take control of the sound, hands-free, while also asking your voice assistant for news, weather and other information.
Added connectivity includes USB-C and 3.5mm AUX In addition to wireless connectivity, the Home 400 also offers both USB-C and 3.5mm AUX connections. Plug in your USB media device and listen to stored music anywhere on the network. The 3.5mm AUX input is ideal for adding another local source, such as a turntable (with built-in phonostage) or even your TV, to the main speaker zone.
