Equipped with Focal’s top-end IHL Beryllium tweeters, the Sopra delivers simply stunning clarity. IHL (Infinite Horn Loading) technology delicately and progressively absorbs the rear wave output, reducing harmonic distortion to the lowest levels. The Beryllium material is chosen for its lightness and rigidity. Developed and patented by Focal, the inverted dome tweeter is capable of covering over five octaves (1,000 – 40,000Hz), ensuring super-smooth harmonics and intense top-end detail.
W membrane TMD cones for incredible realism
Featuring Focal’s flagship W membrane technology, the ‘sandwich’ cone construction delivers the ultimate blend of lightness, rigidity and damping. NIC (Neutral Inductance Circuit) technology features a Faraday ring, creating an optimal magnetic field for precise driver control. By setting the drivers at specific depths, the sound from each arrives at your ears at precisely the right time. Known as time-aligning, this creates a more harmonious sound.
