Similar in concept to the award-winning F501E model, but slimmer by design, the Fyne Audio F55E speakers make the ideal floorstanders for smaller rooms. With 125mm drivers and slimline cabinets, they’re easier than ever to accommodate and are less intrusive than many other floorstanding designs. Compact in size, the F55E’s are still loaded with tech, including Fyne Audio’s IsoFlare and BassTrax technologies for spacious and richly-balanced sound.
Smooth and spacious top-end
The innovation starts right at the top. Rather than placing the titanium tweeter separately, it’s within the centre of the woofer unit. Using Fyne Audio’s proprietary IsoFlare waveguide, the high frequency sound blends seamlessly with the rest of the mix, giving a wide and natural-sounding soundstage from a single point source.
Multifibre cones with fluted rubber surrounds for natural sounding vocals
The main drive units are designed and engineered with maximum attention to detail. The multifibre cones are attached to the chassis by fluted rubber surrounds. These effectively damp unwanted resonances, making the speakers sound exceptionally smooth and lifelike.
Unique BassTrax port system
The engineering excellence continues right to the base of the speaker, with the BassTrax port system. Rather than using a basic bass port at the front or back of the cabinet, Fyne Audio has developed a sophisticated downwards-firing port system. Channelling the air down a profiled diffuser, the air is dispersed uniformly in the room. This neat bit of design makes the speakers far less fussy about room positioning, making them easier to accommodate in most homes.
