Smooth and spacious top-end The innovation starts right at the top with the F5E speakers. Rather than placing the titanium tweeter separately, it’s within the centre of the woofer unit. Using their proprietary IsoFlare waveguide, the high frequency sound blends seamlessly with the rest of the mix, giving a wide and natural-sounding soundstage from a single point source
Multifibre cones with fluted rubber surrounds for natural-sounding vocals The main drive unit is designed and engineered with maximum attention to detail. The multifibre cone is attached to the chassis by fluted rubber surrounds. This effectively damps unwanted resonances, making the speakers sound exceptionally smooth and lifelike.
Unique BassTrax port system The engineering excellence continues right to the bottom of the speaker, with the BassTrax port system. Rather than using a basic bass port at the front or back of the cabinet, Fyne Audio has developed a sophisticated downwards-firing port system. Channelling the air down a profiled diffuser, the air is dispersed uniformly in the room. This neat bit of design makes the speakers far less fussy about room positioning, making them easier to accommodate in most homes.
