JBL has also added its new proprietary tech, AI Sound Boost. This analyses the music in real time, delivering the most lifelike sound while reducing distortion to a minimum.

For a high quality and stable wireless connection, the Charge 6 features Bluetooth 5.4. For lossless audio playback, it also comes with a USB-C input. Connect to your laptop or other compatible audio device and you’re able to stream top quality, lossless audio files.

Built stronger than ever
Improved construction makes the Charge 6 tougher than ever. Now rated at IP68, the Charge 6 is not just robustly water and dustproof, but tough enough to survive a 1 metre fall onto a concrete floor. Now supplied with a detachable carry handle, the chances of dropping it should be less than ever! What this means in practice is that you can take the speaker on a hike, to the beach or poolside and not have to worry about it getting damaged.

Thanks to its built-in powerbank, the Charge 6 is ideal for keeping your smartphone or tablet topped up with power. Its high capacity battery is good for up to 28 hours (24 hours plus an extra four hours with JBL Playtime Boost). If you’re running late but out of juice, a quick 10 minute charge is all that’s needed for a further 150 minutes of playtime.
