Lovely sound, easy to useThere are so many Bluetooth speakers at this price point, so I was really not sure what to get. Many of the reviews focus on features and aesthetics, but I was chiefly interested in sound quality. It was so helpful to be able to discuss instore and get advice matching my requirements. I am very happy with my JBL and my only complaint is that my daughter keeps nicking it!

One old, but very happy bunny who got it right!I’d been wracking my brain what to replace my old CD player and it occurred to me that my son has been happy with the JBL portable speakers I bought for him almost a decade ago. It never leaves his side either at work, home or in the car! Addled brain Bingo! That’ll do me. Wish I'd bought this sooner.We bought our JBL Charge Essential 2 at the weekend.We were completely fed up with being unable to hear dialogue on my laptop speakers when streaming films and TV shows. It was so easy to set up, just a few seconds to connect and suddenly instead of having to stop and start to try to work out what dialogue we'd missed we could hear everything!! As it's portable it has also made it's way to other rooms in the house and is proving useful for kitchen dancing too.

Great presentOldies can connect to their telly and have the speaker close by instead of turning the volume up so loud. An added bonus and not one that I'd thought of when I bought one for my parents. My dad has dementia and will happily listen to Wind in the Willows again and again with the speaker at his side.
