The wireless speakers that put sound first
Based on the revolutionary LS50 Meta, these KEF wireless speakers use MAT (Metamaterial Absorption Technology) for lower distortion and a much purer, more natural sound. KEF’s famous Uni-Q drivers produce room-filling sound, free from the usual ‘sweet spot’. Powering all this is a mighty amplifier system that uses a combination of digital and analogue amplification to produce a total output of 380 watts per speaker.

There are many wireless stereo speakers on the market, but ‘wireless’ doesn’t always mean what you might think. Just like its competitors, the LS50 Wireless II streams music wirelessly. It also goes one stage further, though, in featuring a wireless connection between the speakers themselves – no umbilical cord required. Fantastic when paired with the KEF KC62
I made the decision to replace all my old separates system with just two speakers… the KEF LS50 Wireless 2. So many positive reviews convinced me that they would sound incredible…
Setting up the KEF speakers was a breeze, and I’m loving the easy connectivity to my Apple playlists through Bluetooth, as well as Tidal & Qobuz through Roon. It all works perfectly, and out of the box the speakers sounded good.
I did feel however, that although the sound presented clear and detailed mid-range, the bass was slightly lacking.
So, having researched forums for a solution, I also invested on a KC62 sub woofer, ordered from Richer Sounds for next day delivery.
Wow! The difference is incredible! Now I’m really impressed, and having replaced a £15,000 setup with one costing £3200, I can honestly say that I’m very happy.
I have listened to a comprehensive variety of music, and each genre is handled with ease and sophistication.
Everything is controlled by my iPad or iPhone, & the speakers are responsive and very easy to control.
This set-up isn’t for everyone, but personally I’m pleased that I’ve trusted modern technology & made the swap.

Incredible sound, some occasionalconnection issues
An amazing sounding set of speakers. The app and integration with tidal and Spotify are great, when they work, which is 90% of the time. Sometimes they just do their own thing. Maybe they don't like my choice of music.

Love the speakers, love the service even more
I bought a pair of KEF LS50 Wireless speakers from KEF. I like them in every way, starting with the sound, then the size, then the looks. What I really loved, though. was the outstanding service provided by Richer Sounds. They kept me in touch through the supply chain issues, gave me a trial pair to listen to and replaced my first grey pair within 24 hours to correct a small fault. Just brilliant in every way.

Top quality speakers with built-in amplifier.
The guys at the Bournemouth store gave me some great advice as I had no knowledge of this product. These are top quality speakers and perfect for my needs, particularly being wireless and minimalistic. Amazing sound.

immersive sound
Amazing sound but I did find that I needed to be careful with placement. When I first set these speakers up I was slightly disappointed, but then bought a longer ethernet cable, so that I could place them further apart and away from the wall, and on doing this, everything clicked into place. Now I wouldn't swap them for anything else.

Great Sound +++
We bought this last week and are so impressed with the sound quality, they blow you away! On top of the sound you have so much clever stuff going on, all our Mac stuff iMac Desk top, iPad, iPhones all connect seamlessly, Radio, music library and now we have all our old vinyl out of mothballs after nearly 20 years we are having so much fun! Not cheap but then totally worth it.

Good detailed sound
I bought these integrated wireless speakers for their versatility in being able to easily put them in a variety of rooms. Not having a cable between them is a great improvement over the first model of this wireless speaker. So far my stands have not arrived so they are on some old stands I had and not decoupled from the floor. I think ideally they need to be purchased with a sub-woofer as their bass is light although this could improve when the stands arrive.
The Kef Connect app will not run on old I- phones! Comes with 3 month Qobuz trial. It is quite difficult sometimes to get the speakers on-line. We have cable into the house and good WiFi so this is sometimes irritating and slow. Making them work through the Qobuz app is best but a bit fraught with the connection. Qobuz through the KEF connect app is very basic. The interface to control them could be better.
We bought chord mains cables as on demonstration the sound improved so much but they are very expensive. Perhaps I would have done better to have the sub-woofer instead?
Once working these speakers are excellent but make sure you have a late model phone, strong WiFi, the stands and if you can afford it a sub-woofer. The latter is on my list.
