Escape the background noise with advanced cancellation
Advanced hybrid Active Noise Cancellation keeps you focused on the music and not what’s going an around. Using dual feedforward and feedback microphones, it measures the surroundings every 600ms and adapts the cancellation levels in real time. This means that as you move between noisy and quiet environments, the noise cancellation is set at the ideal level for the best sound quality and most efficient power use. When you need to hear your surroundings, a quick tap activates Transparency Mode, without having to pause the music.

For truly intuitive use, the Headphone (1) has a tactile control for each task, meaning you don’t have to remember which button does what. Use the Roller control to adjust the volume or pause the music. Meanwhile, the Paddle control skips between tracks or podcasts. The Button control is configurable in the Nothing X app, and is ideal for switching between favourite sources, without having to reach for your phone.

Delivering a more personalised experience, the Nothing X app opens up a host of extra features. The advanced 18-band EQ lets you set the sound to perfection and even share the settings with the rest of the Nothing community. Dual connections let you switch between devices. The app also functions as a voice note recorder and can even access ChatGPT on your Nothing device.

With noise cancellation switched off, the Headphone (1)’s offer up to 80 hours of playback time. Switch it on and you get 35 hours – easily enough for a week or two’s worth of commuting. If you’re running late, a quick five minute charge is all that’s needed for an additional five hours listening time.
