With many projectors requiring a throw distance of several metres, a big image simply isn’t possible in many rooms. Thanks to its short throw projection, the Optoma UHZ35ST is a much more flexible option. For a mighty 100 inch image, the projector requires a distance of just over a metre from the wall, making it ideal for big screen entertainment, even in the smallest spaces.

Stunning picture quality and easy set up
Projector arrived and I installed it yesterday - It was replacing an Optoma GT1080 which i has had very heavy use over the last 7 years - 3 colour wheels changed and 1 lamp - all still good but it was beginning to get brittle internally and dark! The UHZ35ST picture quality is outstanding and as one of the few short throw projectors around fits on my existing ceiling mount and connection setup. I would urge some caution in reviewing the Optoma distance guide as both I and the Richer Sound manager had both worked out that the mount would have to be moved 300mm forwards to fit in the space had available but it produces a 114" picture at 58cm from the wall and despite it saying that there is no zoom, there is so the size could be adjusted although I didn't need to.
