Give me a simple life from
Flawed. OS means limited apps.
Recent purchase from Richer Sounds with the usual quick service. Sadly the TV doesn’t live up to these standards and has induced a very frustrating 24 hours and liberal use of expletives . The picture and sound are excellent for a budget TV. The problem is the Linux based OS which means you cannot download and install any other apps than the ones already on the TV. It has iBBC iplayer and Netflix in there. But useless for anyone with subscriptions to Apple TV or Disney Plus as you cannot install these apps. Being Linux and not android you can’t even install the Google Play app and download further apps from there. Yes you can cast Disney from your phone to the TV but not Apple as the TV is not compatible with AirPlay We’ve had to purchase a Fire Stick from Amazon in order to access these subscription services. So more expense, more leads and yet another remote control. Had these limitations been clear at point of sale or even acknowledged by Philips on their website then I wouldn’t have touched it with the proverbial barge pole. Philips should clearly disclose these limitations rather that market this TV as perfect for streaming when it is limited in which mainstream services it can access.

What a fantastic TV, At yet another amazing price from Richer Sounds, " How do you guys manage it"? Clear crisp picture, great sound, It's just like being on the front seats at the Cinema, Even more so when my Mother brought me a Cornetto in lol, Thank you so much for your Brilliant teamwork in getting this to me so quickly, "It came the next day everyone" What a great service that is, Richer Sounds you cant beat em..!

Spoke with Steve at Exeter branch who sorted a voucher that I got when a TV when faulty and could not be repaired.
Steve sorted out delivery and the TV was delivered the very next day, couldn’t ask for better service from Steve and Richer Sounds.
