An award-winner EVOlved
Already a big hit in its original guises, the latest Pro-Ject EVO 2 makes a fantastic turntable, even better. Featuring a raft of upgrades, including new cartridge, improved platter and revised tonearm, this turntable benefits from improved stability, reduced distortion and a more detailed sound. There’s also a brand new colour, Satin Wine Red, although if this isn’t to your taste, a wide range of other finishes are also available.
Better damped and ready for upgrading
For low resonance and high clarity, the Debut EVO 2 uses a dense, MDF plinth. The latest model has a revised platter for improved damping and balanced output compatibility. The latest anti-magnetic design allows you to use MC cartridges and further upgrade to Pro-Ject’s True Balanced Connection technology*.
*Optional True Balanced interconnect, MC cartridge and compatible phono pre-amp required.
Perfectly positioned – with adjustable feet
With height adjustable feet, it’s easy to get the deck perfectly level – helping the tonearm and stylus track as accurately as possible. There are three, rather than four feet, meaning the deck is dynamically balanced for greater stability. Rather than using plastic, the feet are made from heavy-duty metal.
Electronic speed control
For ease of use, the Debut EVO 2 uses electronic speed control. Rather than having to lift the platter and manually change the belt position on the pulley, a change from 33 to 45 speed happens at the click of a switch.
Carbon fibre tonearm for tracking precision
The classic carbon fibre tonearm has been carried through but with improvements to it’s bearing for lower friction. Being stiffer than steel, the tonearm is more rigid, which helps reproduce the music more accurately. In short, the music sounds tighter, punchier and more detailed.
Optimised EVO cartridge included
Tuned especially for the deck, the Pro-Ject Pick it MM EVO cartridge completes this high performing turntable. Made with collaboration from cartridge experts, Ortofon, the cartridge uses a unique combination of technologies, including split pole pins. These help give the cartridge an exceptionally flat frequency response, giving a smooth and natural sound.
Wide choice of finishes
With no fewer than ten different finishes, there’s a Debut EVO 2 to suit every style. Choose between High Gloss Black, Red or White for high-shine appeal. Alternatively, select from one of the low-shine finishes - Satin Black, Satin Golden Yellow, Satin Green, Satin Steel Blue, Satin White and the new Satin Wine Red. For a more traditional style, there’s also a version available in real Walnut Veneer, too.

Connectivity includes everything from wireless Bluetooth to a (MM) phono input for a turntable. Then there’s the sound quality. Connect your turntable
Unusually for a pair of powered speakers, the LN01A is equipped with a MM phono input. This lets you plug-in a MM cartridge equipped turntable, without the need for a further phono pre-amp device. Don’t have a turntable? Then simply switch the RCA phono input to ‘Line’ and connect any line-level device, such as a CD player or tuner.
Connect your TV and more
With a choice of optical and coaxial digital inputs, it’s easy to connect your TV, set-top box or games console. Once connected, you’ll get a massive boost in sound compared to your TV’s built-in speakers.
Fully equipped
Supplied with a connecting speaker cable to link the speakers, the LN01A has everything you need to get started with streaming music from your smartphone (just add the connection cables from your other sources). A remote control makes it handy to control from a distance or, if you’re using as a desktop system, simply use the volume knob at the back of the master speaker for direct control.
Choice of finish
Available in a wide range of finishes, there’s a colour to suit all decors. Chose from Eggplant (purple), Abyss Blue, English Green, Linen Grey, Black or White for contemporary style or Chestnut for a more traditional wood effect finish.
