Ideal for luxury home or hospitality use, this outdoor TV transforms your outdoor entertaining experience. Using a high contrast, QD-Mini LED, anti-reflective screen, it’s bright enough for shaded outdoor use. Rated to IP55, it’s also weather resistant, making it possible to use as a permanent fixture on your terrace. Built-in audio and webOS Smart TV, means that this 55 inch outdoor TV has everything you need for all-in-one, onscreen entertainment.
Weather resistant
IP55 rated, this ProofVision 55 inch TV is durable enough to be placed outdoors in all but the harshest weather. Designed to withstand low pressure water jets and dust ingress, it also makes a perfect choice for humid conditions, such as in a swimming pool room or bathroom. For added protection when not in use, a dustcover is also supplied.
Waterproof remote
ProofVision hasn’t just protected the TV, they’ve made sure the remote control is up to the task, too. With an IP67 rating, the waterproof remote control can withstand being left out in a downpour. For easy Smart TV control, it’s also supplied with a (non-waterproof) Magic Remote.
QD-Mini LED TV with Full Array Local Dimming – ideal for high contrast outdoors
Newly uprated with a QD-Mini LED screen, the PVO55SDMW is better suited to its outdoor role than ever. QD-Mini LED screens use thousands of LEDs, each with individually controlled dimming zones. The result is that you can get intensely bright and dark sections of the picture, right next to each other, giving a huge boost to the contrast. Better contrast doesn’t just mean a more lifelike picture, it also helps the overall clarity a lot during daytime viewing.

For ease of installation and reduced clutter, the PVO55SDMW is fitted with a built-in speaker system. Although you might want to invest in an outdoor speaker system for party-level music, sports and movie nights, the 2 x 10 watt speaker system is perfect for general TV use.
Freeview HD built in
Freeview makes watching regular TV easy. Simply connect an aerial, just as with any other TV, and you’re good to go. Freeview lets you enjoy a wide range of channels, many of which are in HD.
Supplied with VESA fitting bracket for secure mounting
Supplied with a wall bracket, this TV is ready to be fitted to a terrace wall. Using a VESA 200 x 300 mounting, the TV also fits a wide range of suitable, weatherproof supports. Use with the supplied wall bracket, or your choice of optional stand or weatherproof trolley – the choice is yours.
Input other sources
Just like an ordinary TV, the PVO55SDMW has all the inputs you’d expect. Three HDMI sockets are perfect for a games console, TV set-top box and Blu-ray player. There are also two USB inputs for media devices and an optical output for connecting to an enhanced audio system.
