The perfect upgrade for your existing K3 amp
If you already own a K3 Amp then this power amp makes the ideal upgrade. There are two ways you can utilise the K3 Power Amp. Either use your existing amp as a pre-amp and run as a pre/power combo. This gives each section its own power supply and casing for enhanced detail and lower distortion. Alternatively, if you have bi-wirable speakers, you can use one amp to run the 'treble' and the other for the 'bass' in bi-amped mode. This greatly improves the speaker control and significantly broadens the sound stage. Buy a second K3 Power Amp and you can even tri-amp; giving astonishing control and resolution.
A flexible power amplifier in any system
As well as being the ideal match for a Roksan system, the K3 Power Amp works well with other brands, too. With a choice of RCA phono or balanced XLR inputs it's compatible with pretty much any pre-amp. It also features RCA phono and XLP outputs, letting you loop the sound through for more complex, multi-amp systems.
Generous power
With a power output of 140W per channel at 8 ohms, the Roksan K3 Power Amp has ample power for most speakers and room sizes. This power brings several advantages: the ability to drive all types of speakers with ease - even hard to drive ones. The K3 combo also has little trouble in filling large rooms with clean, powerful sound and finally, even with average speakers in small to medium-sized rooms the combo gives a taut, dynamic sound with a great sense of realism.

Even with its generous power, the K3 Power Amp is far from being just a one-trick pony. Featuring a symmetrical amplifier layout, high quality signal output relays and an improved power supply layout, the K3 also excels in terms of accuracy, detail and low noise. Amazing power amp, sounds and looks great!
I bought this amp to replace Onkio 9150. I wasn't sure I will notice the difference, but the result is beyond any expectations!
I believe there are not many alternatives at this price point and it came with a nice bonus too!

Very impressed
I knew I should have listened to the advice given as I have recently upgraded to a Cambridge Audio Azur 851 cd player and needed to replace an ageing Arcam Alpha 8 integrated amp.
I knew that there were pre-amps built into my Cambridge Audio gear yet decide to go for the Cambridge Audio Azur integrated amp.
I was disappointed with the sound as the treble was not as well controlled as I would have liked. I decided to contact the local store who then directed me to the Weybridge branch who were only too happy to demonstrate the Roksan to me and also take back the integrated amp in exchange.
I was blown away by the difference that the Roksan made and it perfectly matched my Dali Opticon 6 speakers.
I also listened to the Cambridge Audio 851N network streamer and purchased that too as it was such a cut above my CXN streamer.
I am now a very happy bunny indeed..

Looks great build is excellent
This is one of those items that looks better in real life than in pictures.
Its really solid and has a nice finish .
It sounds great with a really powerful muscular presentation in my limited experience.
Still plenty of detail I'm very pleased with the Roksan k3 power amp.

Great sounding Power amp, one minor quirk
I purchased the Roksan K3 power amplifier to partner its integrated stable mate, the Roksan K3 integrated. The looks of both units are minimal and unobtrusive, coupled with great build quality and finish.
The addition of the power amplifier adds to the already fantastic sound of the K3 integrated, but with noticeable extra control, detail and stereo imaging.
Bi amping my Monitor Audio Silver 3is (over 20 years old, but still sounding great) has definitely improved the presentation and clarity.
The Roksan K3 integrated does have a slightly warm sound, which has not been added too with the addition of the K3 power amp into the system. But I love the sound as I find this adds to the emotion of the music rather than detract from it. Vocals are super clear, the midrange is excellent and the bass is tight and controlled. But the bass frequencies are still there.
The K3 power amplifier does have one annoying feature, in that it will go into standby mode after about twenty minutes if it does not detect an input signal of sufficient amplitude, this then causes the K3 integrated amplifier that its connected to, too go into protection mode. This maybe an issue if you like to listen at really low volumes, use headphones, or mute your source for a period of time.
However, apart from that, the K3 power amplifier is great addition to my set up, and I would recommend it.

Sound quality is exceptional
I bought the Roksan power amp to drive my new Dali Opticon 8 speakers. The result is phenomenal, to say the least. It is not only an excellent all-rounder that delivers a warm sound but has texture in spades and all this for a very reasonable price. Thanks, Paul at Richer Sounds Cambridge.
