Featuring a premium quality Sabre ES9023 24-bit DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor) at its heart, the Tangent DAC II delivers a boost in sound from your digital sources. Premium quality digital electronics reveal more detail and reduce distortion compared with the standard devices used by the majority of devices. With four digital inputs, this means that all your digital devices benefit from improved sound quality.

Compact and discreet, the DAC II nevertheless has a powerful role to play at the heart of your system. With two optical and one coaxial digital inputs, you can connect you TV, games console and CD/DVD/Blu-ray player or network streamer. A USB-B input makes it ideal for linking up to your laptop or desktop computer, too.
Wireless Bluetooth pairing
For a wireless link with your smartphone, tablet or computer, simply pair via Bluetooth. Compatible with aptX HD, you get a Hi-Res quality connection that’s leagues ahead of Bluetooth sound from only a few years ago.
Ideal as a headphone amp
With dedicated sockets for both 3.5mm and 6.35mm headphone connections, the DAC II makes the perfect desktop headphone amp. Connect your computer and smartphone and enjoy enhanced sound quality through your headphones.
Balanced XLR outputs and more
As well as a wide range of inputs, the DAC II has a multitude of outputs, letting you connect to almost every amp imaginable. For a studio-grade connection, use the balanced XLR output. This professional connection resists electrical interference, reducing distortion and improving the music’s detail. Regular RCA phono outputs are also on hand for connecting to standard amps. For digital amps and AVRs, there’s an optical digital output, too.
