USB digital output for archiving
A great feature with the deck is the USB digital output. Simply connect to a home computer or digital recorder via USB and you can archive your cassettes in CD-quality! Having the cassettes recorded in the digital domain makes for much easier access. You could, for example, put the recordings on a USB stick or SD card and playback in your car, home cinema system or portable.
Twin record
This flexible deck not only lets you record from cassette to cassette but also record on both decks. This gives the option of parallel recording – ideal for when you might want two copies of a home recording.
Quality playback with noise reduction
Teac are highly respected in the recording field and, along with their pro division Tascam, have huge expertise in the area. Great features, Great Sound from my Cassettes
I purchased this twin deck cassette from Richer Sounds on the 27th February 24. I played a cassette in deck one and it played well to start off however halfway through side one the tape started to slow down, I turned the cassette over and again it started to slow down. I trued several other cassettes and the same problem occurred. I then tried deck two and all the cassettes played well, obviously a fault on deck one. I returned the machine to Rucher Sounds in Nottingham where the staff were very good they tried a couple of cassettes and agreed there was a fault and immediately reordered a replacement which arrived the following day. The new Teaca W-1200 is now playing as I write this review all tapes play really well on both decks, no slowing down or cracking from the cassettes. If like me you have lots of cassette music which cannot be replaced on CD or Vinyl I highly recommend you purchase this machine.

Great sounding deck with all required functions
Perfect deck for matching with my other Hi-Fi components. Great sound quality and has all of the required functions and connectivity. Some say that Cassettes are back - for many of us they never went away!

i was looking for a tape deck and went into Richer Sounds in Glasgow on Jamaica street got 1 with everything to go with it i got a complete set up it was a good one and well worth the money thanks for all the staffs help have it working now cheers lads.
