Using a pleated diaphragm that ‘squeezes’ and ‘expands’ the air, the AMT system moves four times more air than a traditional dome tweeter. This reduces distortion, letting the most subtle treble detail shine through. To help further reduce distortion, the 5 Series features new Silentweave and ResoFrame dampers, helping to absorb distortion for an even cleaner sound.
