Alternatively, the screen displays VU metres or, for the least distraction, the screen can be dimmed or turned off.

With a choice of balanced XLR or regular RCA phono outputs, the 9000N connects to a wide variety of amps. For the ultimate connection with the matching 9000A amplifier, with the least distortion possible, take the balanced XLR option. For digital amps and AVRs, the 9000N has optical and coaxial digital outputs.
