Excellent streamer
This is an excellent product. Easy to set up and the streaming quality is superb. The app works well and Tidal connect is an added plus. The only reason I haven’t given it five stars is because there is no Chromecast and some apps like BBC Sounds therefore only work through AirPlay which is not ideal. But if you’re looking for a quality streamer at a good price, this is the one. Much better than Wiim

New price reduction made it even sweeter
I have been putting off buying a streamer for years and having seen the price reduction on the Bluesound node v3 I went for it.
As you will see in the pictures, I have an old audiophile system! I'm in the process of adding a second pair of ESL's on stands (hence the second amp). I knew I had to give in to a streamer eventually even though my various digital sources go through an old VDAC that suits my music and system very well.
I plugged the Node in and set up both RCA and digital outputs in parallel and spent my entire Sunday listening to track after track. What can I say? £399 might just be the best buy I have ever had on a new Hifi product!! Its so good I cant believe I'm considering selling my VDAC to a friend.

Excellent bit of kit
Had Kef ls 50 wireless ii go faulty so bought this to connect with a set of edifier s3000 pro speakers OMG what a difference, the sound is amazing and has given all the functions of the kef's but better

Cambridge Audio AXA35 - Blusound Node gen3
I bought the Cambridge Audio AXA35 and the Blusound Node gen 3 from Richer sounds Bath store. Both items were on sale so I made a considerable saving.
The amplifier is fantastic and really does punch above its weight. In combination with the Node the sound is incredibly detailed for the price. In fact it’s incredibly detailed regardless of the price. It’s also very clean sounding with excellent separation. Top end and bottom end are both excellent but the midrange is something special. Vocals are very realistic and a pleasure to listen to. I used the two items in conjunction with Acoustic Energy AE100 mk2 bookshelf speakers and the synergy really is something special. Go and watch Taran’s (British Audiophile) review on YouTube. Partnering cables were Chord Clearway interconnect and Chord Rumour X speaker cable. These were bought elsewhere and with 40% off. A great match for the system.
I had it in mind to add an external dac but the dac in the Node is incredible and you’d have to spend an awful lot more to better it in my humble opinion. So, I’m sticking with what I have.
All in all I’m delighted. A great system at low cost for my small room.
A special mention for the salesman named Sean at the Bath store. He was professional, polite, knowledgeable but above all very patient with me and my endless questions. He’s also very good when it comes to demonstrations.
