Enjoy B&W award-winning bass from a smaller sub, with the Bowers & Wilkins ASW608.
Punchy bass
It might be Bowers & Wilkins smallest sub, but that doesn’t stop the ASW608 from hitting hard. The 8 inch woofer has the power to drop to frequencies well below many floorstanding speakers – opening up a whole new level of sound you can feel. Epic soundtracks now have the scale they deserve and music has a more dynamic and life-like sound.
Controlled sound
With its 200 watt amplifier, the ASW608 keeps a tight rein on the bass. The hybrid paper/Aramid cone is also ultra-stiff for exceptional accuracy. Combined with its powerful magnet, this means the bass remains tight, responsive and doesn’t wallow as inferior subs can. Give it the right material, though, and the long throw woofer demonstrates bass power to rattle the windows.
Big power from a super-compact cabinet
Delivering big power is easier with a larger cabinet to help contain the forces. Bowers & Wilkins have taken a more difficult route with the ASW608. Forceful internal pressure is counteracted by extremely thick cabinet walls and exceptional rigidity. It’s not a cheap solution but it means the ASW608 retains its high power output while remaining compact enough for small to medium-sized rooms.
Fully adjustable
For sound that’s perfectly tailored to your room, the ASW608 offers a wide range of adjustments. As well as the usual volume and low-pass frequency adjustments, three-stage bass extension and EQ switches give you the perfect amount of bass for your room size, subwoofer position and personal taste. If the subwoofer is positioned behind you, simply select the phase switch for smoothly integrated bass.
Enjoy room filling bass without a space invading sub, with the Bowers & Wilkins ASW608.

Spot on sub
Just upgraded my old Panasonic system with B & W speakers and Denon receiver. The ASW608 was part of a 5.1 package that suited my space and needs. I have to say it's a very impressive unit that, now I've set it up, is way more powerful than I expected. It's a tight sound which is well defined but adds enough impact to any source without being muddy. I'm a live sound engineer so obviously ran some concert videos through it as well as radio channels and PS games. Impressed with all and I expect to dig into its controls a bit more over time. My room is not very big but this unit should work fine I'm a much larger space.

B & W sub
Got the 603 floor standing speakers and the centre 1 and sounded great but wasn't sure about the depth so tried the sub. Makes a big difference especially on films, can make the walls rattle. Love it.

Breathed new life into my phillips 907 oled
I purchased a phillps 907 oled with built in soundbar although the sound was ok i continued to use my 8 year old soundbar for the extra punch. It died a death a while later it was 700w system spoke to someone at richer sounds about new soundbar or a subwoofer, they said the subwoofer would be ok paired with my tv because it had a soundbar. I was sceptical how wrong i was the bowers and wilkins subwoofer asw608 was a revelation it sounds better than my old soundbar it has lots of punch probably to much for my tv i would highly recommend.

Big sound small box
I bought this sub 2 weeks ago, ordered via phone to the shop, no problems at all and was delivered next day and on time.
After reading several reviews on this sub I was convinced this was the one that best suited the size of my room, a little sceptical as what sort of sound it would give, I needn’t have worried after a bit of fine tuning it is truly excellent and could deliver a much bigger sound to a room twice the size of mine, it really is a exceptional sub for it’s size. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed.

Just as good as expected
A really solid piece of kit. It takes a bit of tweaking, but the manual is clear and once you get the output at the right level it's amazing. Hats off to the Senior Sales advisor at the Cheltenham branch (for some reason I'm not allowed to name him) who went out of his way to help me on the phone, resulting in a next-day delivery. That is what I call good service.

Excellent subwoofer for small spaces.
Bought two weeks ago from Bromley branch. Very fast delivery. My listening area is very small (4m x 3m), so I didn't want something to shake the windows, rather a sub to fill out the sound from my Dali Opticon 1 MK2s. It's superb. Control of the bass is great - no boominess at all. I connected it via speaker B outputs, as my Denon PMA 800NE doesn't have a sub out. There's no hum, unless it's on when the amp isn't. I switch it on and off at the plug. Very happy.

Just what I needed
Paired this sub with kef q350s and audiolab 6000a. Needed a small sub to sit out of sight. This produces a clear and full sound that really adds to the weight of the music I'm listening to. Easy to integrate with the rest of the system and small enough to not be unsightly. Couldn't be happier with performance. Service from staff in Glasgow store was excellent. Wouldn't shop anywhere else for my AV needs
