The 40 Series represents a fresh new style for Cyrus. The 40 ST maintains the ‘half size’ case that’s been a Cyrus design signature since the ‘80s, but brings it bang up-to-date with a sleek contemporary style. Presented in a brushed and anodised aluminium finish, it instantly has a premium look and feel. A big step up from previous Cyrus products is the 5” hi-res colour screen with toughened glass panel. Combined with the capacitive touch controls it gives the 40 Series a sleek modern style with timeless elegance.
Customised DAC for ultimate sound quality
At the heart of the 40 ST is a fully customised version of the ESS ES9039Q2M chipset and HyperStream IV Dual DAC technology. Cyrus analysed every component and has tuned the board layout to achieve the best possible performance. Combined with the use of superior quality components throughout, the result is incredible accuracy and precision that unpicks every element of sound.
BluOS streaming flexibility
With Bluesound technology on board, the Cyrus 40 ST delivers a vast range of streaming potential. Connect up via wi-fi or Ethernet and use the award-winning BluOS app (available free for iOS and Android devices) to stream all your favourite streaming services, Internet radio and your own stored music – all from a single control point. If you’d prefer, you can even use Siri voice control. You can also go multi-room, with a wide range of compatible Roon or Bluesound-based products on the market to link up to.
