DALI MENUET (Gloss Black)
Speakers Per Pair
Top quality sound at close quarters
Designed for close quarter listening, such as desktop monitoring, the Dali Menuets get to the heart of the music and let you hear every tiny detail. They’re also superb for top quality sound in smaller rooms or even as reference quality satellite speakers in a home cinema set-up.
Featuring Dali’s renowned wood-fibre woofer, the Menuets offer probably the most accurate and natural mid-range in their class. To hear exactly how a singer sounds, this is as close as you’ll get at this price. Although tiny in size, the speakers also have an uncanny ability to present a broad, expansive soundstage.
Refined top end
Using a soft dome tweeter, the Menuets are free from the top-end harshness that can afflict some speakers. Blending perfectly with the mid-range, the top-end simply sounds natural and musical, without drawing attention to itself.
High quality cabinets
The solid cabinets are optimised for the best sound possible from a compact speaker. Curved baffles enhance the soundstage, letting the speakers ‘disappear’ in a wall of sound. Available in a choice of sumptuous real wood veneers or high gloss black or white, the Menuets look every bit as good as they sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by richtea123 from MENUET MAESTROS These are speakers that belie their size to create room-filling; foot-tapping and sensory-sating sonic pleasures that other speakers simply fail to match. I was initially very skeptic about these speakers after trying to find something to pair perfectly with my Quad Vena II Play amplifier. At first, Filip, from Swiss Cottage Richer Sounds rightly suggested these but I found them too dry (this was a mistake in my aural judgment based on their clarity and responsiveness) so I ignored his wise counsel and opted for different speakers but then sounded too recessed and too muffled so, on Filip's suggestion of giving the Menuet soars a second chance, I was simply blown away. Give them a good pairing and well-recorded sources (be they better sampled, streamed music, or, better still, CDs and vinyl) and these babies become Babels of brilliance and they cannot be matched from all the speakers I tested in terms of dynamic vitality; timing; taut but not lean bass; resolution; spacious but not dissipated sound and also in terms of letting instruments be separated into their right places. Best of all, they let you enjoy music and forget all the technical considerations of hifi but, be warned, once you switch to these speakers you will be addicted and will never leave your room again! Do I recommend them? And how! Are there any shortcomings to them? Yes. As they are so darn good, they will expose the limitations in bad recordings but then this is the price you pay with any quality piece of hi-fi components but treat them well, feed them with the right manna and these gems will sparkle and make your toes twinkle!
