The Emotiva BasX A2 is a 2-channel amp of exceptional value, ability and flexibility. Use it with a pre-amp and enjoy superb value, powerful stereo sound. It also makes an ideal power amp for a multi-room system, where there are passive speakers in each room – just add an amp per room. Finally, the BasX A2 works seamlessly with other BasX amps, making it the ideal ‘add-on’ in a home cinema system. If, for example, you already have an A5 or A7 but want to add another two channels of sound (perhaps for Dolby Atmos), then simply add the A2 for consistent sound all around the room.

Using a tried and tested Class A/B amplifier, the Emotiva BasX A2 delivers smooth and consistent sound. With an impressive 160 watts per channel at 8 ohms or 250 watts per channel into a 4 ohm speaker, this power amp has plenty of grunt to deal with any speaker.

Unlike some, digital only, power amps, the BasX A2 utilises an analogue Class A/B amplifier stage. This preserves the music’s emotion and ‘flow’ in a way that many digital amps struggle to convey. Quality connections
