Flax bass cones for a natural sound
Using a natural material for its woofers, the flax-coned 300 ICW8 speaker sounds totally unique. The material is perfect at reproducing both a natural midrange and precise, punchy bass response. Making sure there's plenty of power at the bottom end, oversized magnets keep a tight grip on the cones.
Inverted tweeter
The ICW8 series uses Focal's famous inverted tweeter design. By inverting the dome, a superior interface between dome and voice coil is achieved, for a more consistent response, especially at higher frequencies. This helps give the speaker its high levels of precision and accuracy.
