had no luck finding what I wanted on the web - mainly because I didn't realise this item was known as 'trousers'. anyway, they've tidied up me speaker cables a treat.

You wouldn't leave the house without your trousers
When it comes to "I may have taken a bit much off that cable sheath", nothing stops the problem better than a good pair of trousers. No more worrying about shorting out your speaker cables and possibly blowing your amp.
As the saying goes... You wouldn't leave the house without your trousers, so don't let cables leave terminals without theirs. Or something like that

Chord Cable Trousers
These trousers provide a neat ‘treatment’ to the ends of your cables, especially if you are fitting banana plugs. They provide a bit of order to all that spaghetti coming out of the rear of the amp and finishes off the connection at the rear of the speakers. It is a perfect fit for the intended Chord C-Screen cable, but I did use with the much smaller QED cable. The ‘waist’ of the trousers are 9mm in diameter, so it will provide a slack fit for any cable smaller than 9mm.

Reasonable priced ,make the speaker cable ends tid
I am impressed with the purchase although they do not add anything to the performance of the cable, they give they the speaker cable a nice finish and provide complete separation of the positive and negative terminals. I would have appreciated it if the store contacted me when the product arrived in store.
