Humax combines quality and performance at a good p
Easy to set up, great picture and features. I would have bought Panasonic but they only record two programmes at one time plus they cost more. You can't do better than a Humax. The staff at Richer are so friendly and put themselves out for you. I will always use you in the future. Vic

Brilliant!
This is my second Freeview box as the first one (another brand) was so bad it lasted less than 2 weeks. Was a little unsure if this would be any better but wow! This Humax is really easy to use, so much so, we bought another for my 89 year old dad who is enjoying all the features. It's really easy to set up and navigate both for younger and older users. Highly recommend!

Pretty good
Bought it 3 weeks ago to replace a Sky box. Picture etc is great. TBH the Sky interface is more intuitive, but plenty of features none the less. Huge storage capacity. Was looking forward to being able to having access to apps since its Android TV, but there's a lot of apps that I can access on another Sony Brava TV (also Android TV) that aren't available on the Humax, which is disappointing.

Easy Set Up, Great Sound and Video Quality!
After a pretty long wait our two units arrived promptly via DPD, the day after arriving at Richer's warehouse. Setting up is straightforward with a clear and concise on screen display guiding the process. WiFi connection was swift and faultless.
The picture quality is as good as as ever in Humax and I note a distinct upscaling of sound quality over my previous DTR 1000.
With 2 TB of storage, there is no fear of not being able to record a lot of programming, even in 4K, my only gripe would be with the remote control, which is a lightweight plastic affair, buttons are logically laid out, but it would benefit users if it was backlit, minor, but I would like to see that.
All in all, an excellent replacement for my previous Youview model. and works very well in my mid-range home theatre system. Very pleased with my purchase!
