Really good for their size.
Had these for a couple of weeks now. Initially found them slightly confusing to set up but on reflection that's probably down to me ( I find online manuals irritating and have to print them out!) They are really terrific given there size and on occasion even show up the quality of poorer/ older recordings. Extremely pleased.

Brilliant sound
I first saw the KEFs advertised on the back of a magazine and thought I’d look into treating myself when I retired. All that happened and I’m now the proud owner of a pair of carbon black LSX II’s coupled to a Denon DP-300f turntable (similarly excellent)

Great little speaker package, great all rounders.
I've had these for a few days now and the first thing that stuck out to me was the ease of connectivity. They take a hug amount of sources and sound great through HDMI tV audio to Spotify streaming. Sound quality for the price point is amazing!

Not a Kef fan but I lost this battle.
Under 5 minutes to full functioning proper hi fi. Open box, plug into mains, download app, sign in and play music with an actual stereo image. There is no Silicon Valley single box substitute for 2 channel music especially if you have a proper listening position in the room. These went into a bedroom after the Sonos gathered dust. Not generally into the plastic Kef look and relatively analytical sound but at lower bedroom listening levels their detail lets you trace instruments around a well formed soundstage. The lower octave is of course missing, but they do their best to describe what’s down there even if they can’t actually shift the air. It’s a good trade off in terms of size and as the harmonic content of say a double bass is intact, so the feel of the instrument is tangible despite the driver being unable to punch out the lowest sounds. Or add a sub. So far, no listening fatigue. Cloth panels quite cosy looking and offset the bling drivers while providing cats with somewhere to sit. The Black Friday price is solid hi fi value - you get 4 amps, 4 dacs, dsp, 4 drivers, a music streamer, a sub out, analog in etc etc. And best of all for me a Roon endpoint and no cables other than mains. In terms of ‘lifestyle’ look & convenience/size/sound the Kef’s closest competitor is the £1k PSBs that run Blu OS and are worth auditioning (slightly different sound signature) but were just a bit shiny for a bedroom.

Excellent sound, A few issues with the Kef App
I purchased these 2 months ago and would like to share my experience. I have using them on a desktop for near field listening connected via USB to a Mac Studio Computer. In this scenario, at their default setting, they have a larger than expected soundstage with a smooth and slightly shy treble. After a couple of weeks I notice an improvement in the resolution of finer details and a more extended bass response. I have not found the need to add a subwoofer. A big reason for me to keep these is that the KEF mobile App can be loaded to run on a Mac desktop computer and kept in a minimised window on my monitor. On fairly regular occasions the KEF app becomes unresponsive and cannot find the speaker, the only way to restore this is to reset and reconfigure the speaker. The only KEF music selection that I have tried is the Network setting, the interface is extremely basic compared to native Apps. I have awarded 5 stars, but would have knocked off half a star for the App issues.

Best Thing I've Ever Bought
Had my eye on these for a while. Reviews were good, presentation was simple, connectivity was excellent.
Spent a good hour in a room at Richer, throwing everything we liked at them. The team set them up for us, and have is the space to appreciate them. We bought them as a result.
Have them set up at home in the dining/games room. Perfect for the size, so easy to control with Tidal Connect, plus various other services/protocols for parties/guests.
They sound amazing, and for the first time I've "spent money" on something like this, they're worth every penny.
