Controlled Performance for optimal sound and isolation
The Monitor Audio W2M-CP is fitted with a fully-sealed back box for Controlled Performance (CP). Fitting a back box increases the mounting depth so won’t suit all installations but it does optimise the sound quality and help isolate the speaker’s sound from interlinked rooms. The back box is designed to provide the ideal air load, giving a consistent mid-range and bass level, whatever the wall construction. It also reduces sound from the rear of the speaker by around 30dB, making it ideal for isolating the sound from the room next door.

The Monitor Audio W2M-CP is a premium quality in-wall speaker that’s suitable for a wide variety of installations. Featuring a 3-way speaker system, with RST II units, you get the perfect combination of precise, room-filling sound with discreet aesthetics. Use in stereo mode, either side of a TV for greatly enhanced TV audio. Alternatively, when used with a subwoofer, the W2M-CP speakers are ideal for high quality, home cinema sound.

Just like its award-winning hi-fi speakers, Monitor Audio’s W2M-CP features a C-CAM tweeter for top-end sparkle. Constructed from Ceramic-Coated Aluminium Magnesium (C-CAM), the tweeter delivers a high frequency performance that’s brilliantly detailed yet smooth and consistent sounding.
3-way design for natural mid-range and powerful bass
With separate mid-range and bass units, the W2M-CP delivers crystal-clear vocals for incredibly lifelike clarity. With the woofers free to concentrate on the bass response, you get excellent bass depth and definition with a fast-paced response to keep the music spot-on the beat. Derived from their Silver and Gold series speakers, the RST II woofer cones features hexagonal dimpling for improved rigidity and reduced distortion, further enhancing the purity of sound.
Easy to install
Using Monitor Audio’s enhanced Tri-Grip II installation system, the W2M-CP is quick and easy to install. Once in position, the multi-point support holds the speaker securely. Patented Quik-Link speaker cable connectors speed up installation, saving considerable time when wiring up a multiroom system.
Discreet design
With its flush-fitting, magnetically attached grille, the W2M-CP blends seamlessly with the wall. For an even more discreet finish, the grille can be spray painted to precisely match your wall’s colour.
