3400 ANSI Lumens for ‘lights on’ viewing

Modelled on the High Definition TV standard, Rec.709, the HD145X delivers the truest possible colour reproduction. With such accurate colour, you can enjoy lifelike images from sports, movies and documentaries.
Dynamic black
Optoma's Dynamic Black helps give the HD145X an improved contrast ratio (over the HD143X) of 25,000:1. By smoothly adjusting the lamp output for each frame, the HD145X produces the darkest blacks alongside the brightest whites.
ISF modes for the best picture, day or night
Thanks to ISF preset modes, you can optimise the picture for all lighting conditions. Save your calibrated day and night settings and get quick access to the ideal brightness and contrast levels.
Keystone correction for easier installation
Making the HD145X a cinch to set up is Keystone correction. With the ability to digitally shift the image by +/- 40 degrees in the vertical plain, the HD145X fits locations that are more difficult and enables a wider choice of screen options.
Gaming Mode and 24p
Getting the best from gaming, this projector features a special Gaming Mode. This optimises the projector's settings to give lightning fast response, maximum contrast and vivid colours, making gaming on the big screen even more involving. For movies, the HD145X is also 24P compatible. This means that it replays films shot at 24 frames per second at the correct speed, without glitching - just like at the cinema.
Optional 3D
For an even more immersive picture, the HD145X is ready for 3D. Just add optional, compatible Optima 3D glasses, connect up to a compatible source and enjoy 3D images that are every bit as bold as at the cinema.
USB power – plug in Smart TV
Thanks to the built-in USB power outlet you can power your source device. Ideal for powering Smart TV dongles, such as the Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, Roku or NOW TV, the HD145X makes adding Smart TV cheap and easy.

Easy to use, good image
This projector is nothing fancy, with just a single HDMI port and a basic black plastic shell, but it gets the job done and produces a very nice image. Brightness gets very high, contrast is good and overall it's great for watching films or presentations on a big screen.

Perfect for TV viewing, with a zoom caveat
If you’re upgrading from an old projector, this will feel like a big upgrade in picture quality for probably less than you paid for your old one. Bright and sharp, even in daylight. Fan is far from silent but not intrusive. Only real niggle is that the manual zoom doesn’t give lots of variety - less than my Optoma I bought a decade ago - giving less flexibility in positioning.

Great colours!
I had the model below and was happy with it so bought the 145x when that started to fail and wasn't disappointed with the colours. The contrast is exceptional and economic mode is fine even during the day on a 13 inch screen. Very satisfied with it!

HD145X. Classy product!
After much thought I decided to upgrade my home cinema projector. I had bought an optoma HD70 15 years ago and it had proved to be one of my best tech purchases ever. I was looking for 1080p and 3d as a bonus. Gorgeous picture quality, excellent brightness and strong 3d(glasses not included) make this a terrific package. If I can get even half the longevity out of this as my previous projector it will be great value. Spendid and prompt delivery also, Thank you.

Great picture
I got this for outdoor sports and movies. It’s brilliant at dusk, night and also when overcast - using either the gazebo or garden umbrella to block some of the light. Struggles when the sun is out but so will most projectors. Plugged in my kids Marshall amp for sound - it’s great even on lowest setting.
