Bought online as my local shop (Glasgow) didn't have it in stock... slightly strange customer service in there too. Anyway, bought online and it arrived in good time. It's an excellent upgrade to the E5 that I had previously.

Transformed my vinyl collection.
I'd been putting off buying a new stylus for my Pro-Ject turntable for a while; I knew it needed one, but I didn't think it would make that much difference.A small Christmas bonus convinced me to splash out and upgrade (previous was an Ortofon Stylus 5).
It was a doddle to fit, it just slides on and off and comes in a handy little case to ensure it arrives safe. I settled on the recent repress of American Football's self titled LP for first play. I'd been listening to the radio through my hifi for an hour or so to make sure the amp and speakers were nicely warmed up when I put the record on.
The sound quality absolutely blew me away; I hadn't realised how bad my old stylus had become until I heard the difference. It was like taking out a pair of earplugs and letting the full aural experience flood in through my ears; drum sounds were bright and detailed, the bass (enhanced by the heavy vinyl no doubt) was rich and full and there was none of the muddiness I'd become accustomed to.
