HDR10 is now commonly used in movies and games and offers enhanced detail – especially in darker parts of the picture. HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma HDR) is a broadcast and user generated standard format that is seen as the standard for transmitting 4K signals.

Using FHD (1080p) resolution, the Philips 32PFS6805 delivers crisp detail from its compact screen. You also get the benefit of a unique Philips technology; Pixel Plus HD. Artefacts and noise from any source are detected and reduced. This creates super-sharp definition and ultra-low noise images for a more realistic and lifelike picture.
Low input lag – ideal for gaming
With an input lag of less than 20ms, this Philips 32 inch TV is ideal for gaming. Reduced lag means faster response and a faster response gives you the advantage in combat, sport and any action gaming.

Rated 5 out of 5 by canis vulgaris from HAPPY EVER AFTER I bought this tele., after much mind-bending research, from Richer Sounds as their price and purchase conditions (including a 6 year guarantee, no less) were the best I could find. I ordered it on a Sunday and it arrived early on Tuesday morning. What service! Oh, yes, the tele is great , (apart from not making omelettes). Thank you, Richer Sounds. (perhaps get the omelette thing sorted by the time I buy another one?)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Arthur199 from Quality TV I have put this TV in my bedroom and I am very happy with the picture quality and sound. It is a smart TV so I have a total choice in what I watch. The absence of mo5e advanced feature such as 4k is not a problem as I have no accessories attached.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PB3053 from Phillips 32" Bedroom TV Very pleased with this TV which has been installed for 10 days as I write. Replaced a 5 year old Hitachi in my bedroom that was constantly causing the TIVO box to run every 3 minutes when on stand bye during the night to my annoyance , doesnt do that now with the Phillips. Phillips installed easily on my existing Vesa wall mount with 2 bolts (not supplied). I only use cable headphones via standard 3.5 jack and find the sound good , havent used the built in speakers so have no opinion on them. Two usb ports for memory sticks to watch an assortment of pre downloaded films from my computer, quality is excellent !. HDMI ports also available. And last but not least, the picture. I have always been a fan of Japanese TV's of which I have 4 throughout the house but I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the picture on all channels of this Phillips including Freeview. And theres still loads on this TV I havent got around to trying yet such as Netflix and YouTube. So do I recommend this TV ?, Yep and I will consider replacing my Samsung Smart TV in the lounge with a similar Phillips if in the course of time the Phillips proves reliable. Oh and another pleasant surprise, Richer Sounds offer a 6 year warranty on this TV !.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nevil 99 from Needed a Cheap TV, Got a Fantastic One! I bought this on price alone, for the features I wanted. It had to be full HD, not HD Ready. It had to be Smart as I was never intending it to be connected via an ariel. On reviews, a lot of them mentioned the screws on the stand as a potential problem. What I found was, trying to be careful and using a hand screw driver was not going to work well. The screws seemed to jam up a bit. So I set up a well fitting bit in my cheap power screwdriver and pressed hard with a low number in the torque limiter, and all of the screws zoomed straight in with no problem what-so-ever. It's a nice looking TV, and I'm amazed at what it offers, for the price. Is the sound a bit tinny? Well yes, but I've paid 4 times this price before, and gotten no better. Is the remote a little cheap feeling? Yes, a tad, but come on. £239 is a great price to pay when you value having a great picture on HD sources over more or less everything else. I'm really pleased.
