Great price
I ordered this online along with Sennheiser adapter so I could use the Headphone amp on my Marantz CD 6007. I ordered them late in day came first thing next morning the adapter was £11 less
than Amazon ( plus you know it isn’t a Chinese copy)

Happy household
Didn’t want to annoy my new girlfriend by watching my tv with surround sound after she had gone to bed. Have an old pair of headphones from an old Sony Walkman so i bought a 3.5 to 6.3mm adaptor plug and this lead so i could plug the headphones into my stereo. Tried it last night and works like a treat. Happy me and happy girlfriend!!

Cable the wrong specification for my headphones
So I bought one of these extensions on a Monday to go with my Beyerdynamic Soul Byrd in-ear headphones - but when I got home and tried the extension, the sound was distorted. So I took it back to the shop and the deputy manager who served me - at my request - immediately ordered a replacement, both of us thinking the extension cable was just a one-off faulty unit. The replacement arrived quickly the next day (Tuesday) and I tried the new extension cable in the shop this time. However the sound was still very distorted using the second replacement QED extension. Another member of staff assisted me this time and we tested out the replacement extension cable with a different pair of headphones that they had in store and the QED extension seemed to work perfectly with the in-store headphones. We established that my headphones were incompatble with the QED Connect 3.5mm extension cables. I was offered a full refund straight away which I accepted - even though officially there was nothing wrong with the QED extension cables themselves. Having done some research afterwards, I realise that my headphones have a 4-pole male jack connector and most likely the QED Connect 3.5mm Extension female connector is a 3-pole specification; the two don't marry up. Probably for 90% of Richer Sounds customers who want a 3.5mm extension cable to go with an audiophile set of headphones with a 3-pole connector the QED Connect extensions will be fine - however there is a growing customer base like me who have semi-audiophile headphones like my Beyerdynamic Soul Byrd - that have an in-line mic - and have 4-pole connectors which in turn need a 4-pole extension cable. I think the online description of the QED Connect 3.5mm Extension simply needs to be updated to specify clearly whether it is 3-pole or 4-pole and what type of headphones it will be compatible with. I've given the extension cable 3 stars because its probably a good quality cable - it just didn't work for me - and I think the specification should be more clearly stated online and on the box. As usual the Richer Sounds staff were friendly and helpful and the customer service was excellent.
