Monster power
At the heart of this do-it-all amplifier is a supremely powerful amplifier that will power just about any speaker to high levels in even the largest living spaces. An oversized toroidal transformer and large heatsinks help provide this amp with a storming 150 watts per channel - that's over twice the amount a typical stereo amplifier produces.
Roksan quality
Roksan amps have a long tradition of being highly respected for their involving sound quality and the Blak is no different. A dual-mono design means that the left and right stages each have their own dedicated components, helping ensure a broad, accurate sound that's perfectly balanced. Stop looking around and buy it!
After reluctantly selling my Arcam A38/CD37 and Monitor Audio GX200 speakers, due to hard times in 2013, I was back in a position to buy again. I thought It would be an easy task to do, but boy how wrong was I! Over the last two years I have tried various amps to pair with my speakers which are Monitor Audio Platinum PL200 II and CD transport Cyrus Cd-Xt Signature. Some of the AMPs include NAD M10, Cyrus Stereo 200, Cambridge Audio 851W, Arcam A49 and more recently and also the biggest disappointment Musical Fidelity’s M6si500. Each amp had its own spin but none of them to me had that wow factor or sparkle. Further into researching integrated AMP’s I came across the Roksan Blak which admittedly never appealed to me. Anyways to cut a long story short the Roksan Blak is just brilliant. It projects excitement, finesse and drama into my music collection but also creates a beautiful sense of spatial soundstage. The Roksan really makes good use of the Micro Pleated Diaphragm in my speakers, which is great at bringing up the shimmering and sparkle as well as details that I’ve never heard or noticed before. Needless to say I have now stopped looking and can get on with enjoying my music collection.

Totally superb amp.
Got mine from Richer about 18 months ago and it's been all I've wanted from an amp. It's connected to a Blak CD player, RP3 deck and Tannoy Xt8F speakers.

Great build quality, excellent sound
Bought this to replace old technics amp. Wow what a difference superb quality very clear can hear every instrument live heavy rock sounds like been at a gig. Most importantly it’s sounds great at lower volume so don’t have to blast the neighbourhood and deafen the dog and it’s made in England

Simply Stunning
For the last 35 years, I have always considered I had very good hi fi systems, Audiolab, Arcam, NAD, Thorens, Rega, Tannoy, Roksan. Whilst happy with components at any given time, I was always on the lookout for that missing X factor. The search is now over. I decided recently to replace my Roksan Kandy K2 (as excellent an amplifier as it is) with its bigger brother, the Blak. The Caspian was not in the running as it doesn’t have a phono stage. The clarity that the Blak brings to the system, the breadth of soundstage and the depth have all exceeded my hopes and expectations. It is a phenomenon, no question. Richer Sounds service, also beyond reproach. I ordered over the phone through the Glasgow branch, it arrived within 48 hours by DPD. Easy to set up. The phono stage, servicing my Rega RP3 is the best I have ever heard. Audiolab 8200 CD player has never sounded so good. The Bluetooth facility is a nice add on, very good reproduction, just an edge off the CD line. A very pretty remote control. Yes, it is not cheap, but for me, worth every penny. It is worth trying for a home demo if you can. It is worth a blind faith purchase. Go for it

This is what heaven sounds like!!
I have had this amp nearly a month now and the sound is amazing. I have it paired with the MA gold 300s and they compliment each other well. I will also look to complete the set by adding the Roksan blak CD player.

Very impressed so far.
