The original MR1 has long been considered a ‘best buy’ within its field. The latest Ruark MR1 Mk3 takes the winning concept and maximises its potential with the latest technologies. Compatible with Bluetooth AptX HD it now has better than CD sound quality, with Hi Res potential. For enhanced connectivity, you can now plug in a turntable and USB media device – alongside the existing AUX/Optical input. Finally, featuring tech from Ruark’s R410 system, the amplifier sounds better than ever.
Focused on the best possible desktop sound
With its Class D amplifier that features tech from Ruark’s R410, the MR1 Mk3 speakers punch exceptionally hard. Although compact, they’ll easily fill most rooms with richly balanced and finely detailed sound. The two-way speakers feature silk dome tweeters for a refined yet detailed top-end and long-throw woofers for crisp vocals and toe-tapping rhythm.
Boost the bass
Using a bass reflex design, these compact speakers deliver an impressively deep and powerful bass response. If you want more, then simply add your choice of powered subwoofer via the subwoofer output.
Highest quality Bluetooth connection
For quick and easy connectivity, the MR1 Mk3 features Bluetooth connectivity. Connect your smartphone, tablet or other Bluetooth music source and effortlessly stream your stored music or streaming music services. Compatible with aptX HD, you can even stream Hi-Res music files for sound that’s superior to CD.
Now compatible with your turntable and USB media device
For the first time on MR1 speakers, you can now connect a turntable and USB media device. Hook up to your MM-equipped deck and spin your vinyl with just these speakers – no additional amps required. Ideal for use with laptops, PCs and media devices, the USB audio input delivers the highest possible sound quality from your digitally stored music.
Music hub
As well as Bluetooth, USB and TT connectivity, the MR1 Mk3 also features a combined digital and analogue input. The 3.5mm input can be used either for a source with a digital optical output, such as CD transport or games console, or an analogue output (AUX).
