Great headphones
Had these for a while now, noise cancelling not great compared to other makes but sound quality outweighs this minor gripe, very comfortable, can wear for long periods, connect straight to iPhone when you put them on, easy to alter settings using the app, controls on headphones seem to work well. Great headphones especially if you listen to various types of music. Highly recommend.

Simply awesome 👍
I own some Sony MX4 (in-ear) and had B&W PX7 (Returned to RS as became faulty after 3 months).
B&W PX7 has more detailed sound and better build quality/feel but that's it.
The SM4 blow both out the water for sound quality across IMO all genres.
The bottom end bass is a world apart from the others and to me, makes a HUGE difference across all my listen genres.
For the price, the SENNHEISER MOMENTUM 4's are an absolute MUST!!
From Dance music,Rock, Metal, Soul, Easy listening they WIN ... Hands down.
Maybe ... Just maybe the B&W may win on Classical but I don't listen to classical so I don't really care!!

I don't and won't go anywhere else for my AV equipment and haven't done for many years.

Amazing pair of anc headphones
Ive had these for just over a week now and ive had very little issues, most of which are just personal preferance. My main wish is that on the app for there to be a prioritised connection device, because if you have multiple selected itll just connect to whatever one is fastest co connect to. Also they have a proximity sensor on the inside to detect wether you have them on or not to pause and unpause music when you take them on and off, but i personally have turned off this feature because i noticed it glitching out and not pausing after i take them off. Ive seen people saying that the left earcup is louder than the right, but my pair does not have this issue. Other than that, the sound is great. Completely undistorted, clean and well sound staged audio. Bass is super clear and detailed, well seperated from everything else and doesnt degrade as you turn the volume up. It always stays strong and detailed no matter how loud the headphones are playing. Ive noticed the equaliser is a bit weak, doesnt change the audio as much as sony's app. But when using the personalised sound feature it works great and got exactly the preset i would want with an equaliser anyways. Stock audio they are muddy sounding (to my ears) but with a bit of tuning and boosting the mids to match with the highs and lows make it sound a lot better for me. Another cool thing about these headphones is that they have angled drivers, this means that the drivers are at an angle so they fire directly into your ear canal, not just onto your ear, it helps them get their super clear audio. They feel AMAZING to hold in the hand, they feel super premium, as good as you can get with plastic atleast. There's nothing loose about them and no weird noises either. The earpads are super soft and i hardly feel them on my head, ive seen people complaining about ear heat with these but i personally havent noticed it even for 2 hour+ listening sessions. The design is my personal favourite for the other Bluetooth ANC headphones around this price point, especially the bronze accents over it. The case is super secure, doesnt feel flimsy at all, although the headphones do move around quite a bit and if you store them upside down they may turn on and connect to your phone. The case also comes with many extras like a usb A-C cable, 2.5-3.5mm auxiliary, and an airplane adapter. And for my last point, the ANC, they are not the absolute best around this price point, but they are still very good. They easily drown out most backround noises like a bus engine or cars driving past, but they still very clearly show peoples voices and sounds like that through, although i think this might be by design.

I regard myself as a headphone aficionado, and these are undoubtedly the best that I have heard so far. I also own the Sony wh-1000xm5. The Sennheisers have them beat in every area.

best headphones ever
My wife bought me the momentum 4's and I have to say they are amazing. Tend to lean slightly toward the bass but overall a very neutral sound with plenty of detail. Bluetooth is flawless and never falls out, battery lasts for ages. Feel very comfy on the head and the noise cancellation is fantastic, very good on aircraft, trains, cars. Using the noise cancellation on it's own is a weird experience when you haven't tried it before, I sometimes do this is the car and get total peace.

Crystal clear sound
I bought these to replace a pair of B&W PX7 S2, which had developed a fault. Wish I had bought these in the first place ( and from Richer sounds). Crystal clear sound, not over-amplified, and with enough opportunity to vary the tone using the EQ on the app.
