A lot of power from a small unit
I have just bought this product. The aim, to improve the power and weight of my Sonos Beam. I considered other options but after advice from Richer Sounds and internet sources, I selected the Mini Sub. It de-loads the Beam from working on the base ranges and allows it to concentrate on mid to high frequencies. The result is a much improved listening experience.

Great addition to my Sonia collection
This really is a great addition to my system & so easy to set up.
It adds rich depth of base to the tv and music which it’s mainly used for.paired with a Beam and two 1’s which is more than enough for a living room 4 x 3.5.
I’ve positioned the sun mini so it can be grouped with the kitchen when I group the rooms for parties enough base to feed both Beams and 4 Sonia 1’s.
It has a sleek matt look, I went for black and goes well with the modern looking room.
Bottom line I would recommend this Sun mini.
The staff were very good as always. They rang to say it had arrived to the shop. Good prices coupled with a 6 year guarantee, you just can’t go wrong.
I’ve used Richer Sounds Middlesbrough for quite a few years and have no hesitation to recommending them too

Adds nicely to an Arc soundbar
The staff at Watford Richer Sounds were very helpful. I was trying to decide whether to keep my Arc and add a sub or sell the Arc and buy a soundbar with the money. After a demo of a mid range Denon bar I decided adding a sub to the Arc was the best thing for me to do. The sub integrates well into the Arc both in set up and sound. From experience of setting up less smart subs I think the low pass is set to 90-120Hz, so if there are frequencies under that the sub will play them. How loud it plays them is again down to whatever you are listening to. The out of the box setup is, to me, a fair representation of what’s there in the original sound. After listening to TV and music for a few days I’ve found that music is improved with the sub because it adds a bit of weight to the bottom end that the Arc can’t produce. With TV sound tracks it produces a satisfying bottom end and thump if it’s there. The highest praise I can give the sub is that you don’t know it’s there until the sound track needs it then it makes its presence felt. None of that thud-thud-thud you hear from badly tuned car subs and no vibration from a badly built enclosure. This is a grown up sub, and for the price it should be. However if it lasts (thanks for the free 6 year guarantee Richer Sounds) as long as my other Sonos gear then I’ll feel a bit better about the price, which at Richer Sounds was the cheapest I’d found.

Great addition to my Sonos sytem
I've had the Beam and 2 SLs for a few months now but, like many, felt that the bass needed something more. The Sub Mini is perfect - compact and full sound - ideal for the size of room it's in. As ever, easy to set up and integrate in a few steps in the app.
In addition, great service from Richer Sounds - best price and delivered as promised.

Nice staff, great pruduct
I phoned on the off chance RS Norwich might have this in stock as they're offering a better warranty and it was slightly cheaper than other outlets. Not sure of the chaps name who I spoke to but he kindly agreed to hold it overnight.
I went in the following day and he was very polite in the flesh too.
As.for.thr sub..... It sounds amazing. Very happy with the purchase.
