This latest XBT version now features Qualcomm aptX. The top quality Bluetooth codec gives the best quality signal from deck to speaker (when used with compatible aptX components). Improved tracking and reduced resonance also help reduce distortion, for a smoother, more natural sound.
Cable it up
Audio Technica has made it easy to hook up the AT-LP60XBT to non-Bluetooth equipped hi-fi systems, too. A built-in phono stage means you don't need a hi-fi with a phono pre-amp built-in - any AUX input will work fine. It also comes with an RCA - 3.5mm cable convertor, letting you connect the deck to either RCA phono or 3.5mm mini jack inputs.

Sounds amazing & easy to use - but always on
This turntable sounds great, looks great and is super easy to use. I've been messing around with old second hand DJ turntables for years and it's such a relief to just have something that works so smoothly so I can enjoy my budding record collection! It's also very light and compact.
However, there are a few small gripes. I haven't managed to pair the Bluetooth to my stereo yet.
This is fine, as I was intending to use the cable anyway, I just wanted the Bluetooth option to be future proof and out of curiosity. But it seems Audio Technica intended this as a 'Bluetooth first' device, as there is no switch to turn the Bluetooth off, and the little light next to the Bluetooth button will remain on once it stops trying to find a speaker to pair with. In fact, the turntable has no off switch at all, and if you turn it off at the wall, every time you turn it on it will spend 5 minutes beeping and flashing as it tries to find a speaker to pair with. This is a bit annoying. If you don't intend to use Bluetooth as your main way of listening, I would advise getting the LP60XUSB turntable instead. (It's also sold by Richer Sounds and a bit cheaper)
I also wish I had gone for the black version instead of white, as the white plastic front panel looks a bit cheap in real life. The important bits all feel solid and well built though.
Lastly, although it is quite compact, its square shape means that with the cables attached it is slightly too big to fit inside the cabinet where I intended to place it. (An IKEA Besta TV cabinet) That's my fault, but just make sure to allow an extra inch or so to account for that.
With all that said, this is a great beginner turntable and it's made me excited about listening to records again. Richer Sounds' online delivery was also rapid and smooth. I always love their expertise, great service and great products.

Impressive turntable
Bought this turntable for my son's birthday to introduce him to vinyl and my ageing record collection.
We are delighted with it. Easy to set up and operate. Simple to use for a total newcomer to the world of hifi
and great with the Bluetooth connectivity plus phono amp built in. Sound quality is good for this level of
budget and the design/style of the turntable is appealing.

Just a lovely item and superb service
I've now bought 3 things from Richer Sounds and honestly their customer service is second to none. Emailed communication was superb, they responded immediately and agreed to shave off a few quid as well. Ordered at 2.00, arrived at 10 the next morning. Turn table itself is excellent, great sound, easy to set up and a great price, much cheaper than other mainstream competitors. I'm over the moon. Steve/Bristol.

Great upgrade from an entry level turntable
I bought this to replace an old turntable with integrated speaker, and the audio technica is a vast improvement.
Bluetooth works with ease, and I have the option to use an amp when I buy one.
The start/stop button lifts the arm, it doesn't have a lever.
I'm very happy with it, it's brought a new standard to my listening.
