48Gbps bandwidth video resolution up to 10K
Using four balanced AV cores, the Carbon 48 delivers a maximum bandwidth of 48Gbps. This ultra-high bandwidth is good enough to allow 10K, 8K/60 and 4K/120 signals to pass through unimpeded. This not only makes it the ideal cable for your current TV, but also for your future one.
5% Silver-plated Conductors
Solid-core conductors eliminate strand-interaction distortion and reduce jitter. Solid core, silver-plated conductors go one better and are excellent for very high-frequency applications, like hdmi audio and video. These signals, being such a high frequency, travel almost exclusively on the surface of the conductor. As the surface is made of high-purity silver, the performance is very close to that of a solid silver cable, but priced much closer to solid copper cable.
Level 3 noise dissipation for superior resistance to background noise
With so many sources of electrical interference around, thorough shielding is vital to reduce background noise. Guarding against wi-fi, cellular and satellite radiation, the Carbon 48 hdmi uses Direction Control for all 19 of its conductors. These direct or ‘drain away’ RF noise, giving a quieter, less distorted signal for clearer sound and a cleaner picture. Level 3 Noise Dissipation adds a high-loss, carbon layer sandwiched between layers of metal around the cores (including eARC), further enhancing noise-dissipation.
High quality audio return channel - eARC
Featuring the same high quality cables as the main channels, the enhanced audio return channel (eARC) hasn’t been forgotten about. It uses the same 5% silver-plating and Level 3 noise dissipation. The Direction Controlled noise dissipation ensures that the return audio signal is also just as clean and distortion-free as the outgoing signal.
