Using a single, BMR drive unit, the MIN 12 satellite speakers give pinpoint accuracy and are bursting with detail right up to high volume levels. BMR technology combines the advantages of both flat panel and conventional speakers, so that the MIN12 satellites won't turn harsh or brittle when the music or film action gets intense.
Latest V4 BMR drivers
Already well established as one of the most popular small speakers around, the Minx MIN12 builds on previous models with a revised BMR drive unit. Now in its fourth generation, the new unit uses a larger magnet for improved efficiency, while driver excursion has increased from 2.2mm to 4mm, giving enhanced lower-midrange for improved integration with a subwoofer. Finally, the BMR unit moves in a more uniform manner, giving a more accurate sound across all frequencies.

Little bigger than a Rubik's Cube, the MIN12 is already incredibly discreet and easy to place. And with a wide range of mounting options, it's flexible in its location. Excellent small speaker
Great little speaker, high approval factor for my partner too. They take a while to run in, but for rear surrounds these are just the job.

Compact nice looking but wasn't quite right for me
The Cambridge Audio Minx 12 is good at what it does. A small and nice looking satellite speaker with good sound for the size in the mid to high range. It does lack bass though, but that is to be expected from a speaker that's so compact. I decided it wasn't quite right for me and opted for some Minx 22s instead.
As usual no problems with customer service from Richer Sounds and the Minx 12 is being returned to store for a full refund. Ordering some Minx 22s instead via telesales was nice and easy.
If you want a bit more from your satellite speakers or are using these as discrete HiFi speakers in a small to medium room I'd go for the Minx 22s. The Minx 12 would be good for smaller rooms but definitely needs a subwoofer for the bass. These speakers are amazing for the size but I'd suggest you have a listen to some if you can before deciding which are best for you.

I bought 4 of the the min12 speakers to supplement my existing 5.1 system. They were very easy to install high on the walls. My av reciever picked them up with no issues and had blended them in nicely fir dolby atmos.

Perfect size.

Good small speaker
Bought to use with my PC as they are small and I sit close they are perfect, however you need a sub or you will be disappointed. I'm using a cheapo logitech one but plan to get the small cambridge one and a new classd amp, it's only my PC after all but I'm already appreciating the crisp detailed sound from these speakers

Packs a punch for a small speaker
I bought these for my kitchen as I wanted something small to pop on top of my kitchen cupboards and wow do they deliver. The sound quality for something so small is fantastic and well outperforms my expectations. I would definitely recommend for any small room.
