Powerful, 100 watt performer with two sets of speaker outputs
With a mighty 100 watts per channel at hand, the Cambridge Audio AXR100 packs a powerful punch. Providing ample power for the largest rooms, the AXR100 is perfect for filling bigger spaces with smooth, effortless sound. Twin speaker outlets mean you can have a pair of speakers in another room or spread four speakers around a large, open-plan space.
Your whole system connected – including a turntable
Featuring a phono input (for turntable with MM cartridge), the AXR100 is the perfect amp for a vinyl based system. This is just the beginning, though. Four RCA phono inputs are ideal for a CD player, streamer, games console and other source. There’s also a 3.5mm AUX input at the front that’s handy for temporary connections – such as an MP3 player or smartphone. For more bass, you can add your choice of active subwoofer via the dedicated output.
Digital inputs
As well as being more powerful than the smaller AXR85 model, the AXR100 also features a built-in DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor) for connection to your digital sources. Twin optical and a coaxial digital input are perfect for hooking up your TV, games console, DVD/Blu-ray player or any other device with a digital output. Connecting digitally means you can take advantage of the latest digital technology built into the AXR100, for the best sound possible.
Built-in Bluetooth
With Bluetooth built-in, streaming music from your smartphone, tablet or laptop is just a click away. Pair with your device and effortlessly stream your stored music and popular music streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music.

Covering all the bases, the Cambridge Audio AXR100 also features a built-in FM/AM radio. With 30 presets, you can quickly call up all your favourite stations. The RDS (Radio Data System) FM tuner displays the radio name and gives other handy display information.

Great service and products
We live on the Isle of Wight where there are little or no specialists in audio products, really just Curry’s which are pretty useless for most things and we wanted to upgrade our current audio equipment for our chalet and garden area. Having bought from Richersounds before we decided to take a boat trip to our nearest store in Southampton. We reserved by the store manager, Robert, who listened to what our needs were and what our budget was. He very quickly came up with some great options and we settled on one and look forward to reviving our new kit in the next few days. He was very pleasant and helpful. Great service!

Impressive clarity
I decided to move away from mp3 sounds via an iPhone and have a decent sound system again. The sales advisor recommended this amp as one that suited my requirements. I set it up and I am so impressed by the clarity of sound at all levels . Even streaming through Bluetooth sounds wonderful

Very good sound, loads of power, and good value
I bought it to run through ceiling speakers. Very good sound quality, much better than what I had before, and useful to have a radio in the unit. The bluetooth connects very quickly to my phone and sounds good. Tuning the stations is a bit fiddly, and the display is limited to the station name - no info on the programme or what music is playing, either from the radio or from the phone. The writing on the front is rather small, and parts of the remote are difficult to read, though it works well. However these are minor issues compared to the good quality and power of the sound. Good value for money. I bought it over the phone with next day delivery, all very easy and efficient.
