Powerful sound
With a Class-D digital amplifier built-in, the C8D produces an immense 170 watts with peaks up to 220 watts. This low distortion amplifier provides the bass cone with a powerful, well-balanced sound that fills even the largest rooms.
More bass, less boom
Although the C-8 D is quite capable of going (very) loud, it’s musical, too. You get the impact you crave from action movies but, when listening to music, the C8D is subtle enough to let you hear the different textures from a bass guitar – rather than a single one-note bass boom. DALI’s famous paper fibre cone provides the flexibility here – making bass sound part of the music rather than apart from it.

Despite its deep, rich sound, the DALI C-8 D is easy to accommodate. The neat, cube-shaped sub is ideally placed in the corner of your room – perhaps behind the TV. Finished in subtle black it also blends seamlessly with your TV and other components.

Great Sub, amazing sound
I've been using this Sub for about 2 weeks now, and I think its FAB! Sound quality is excellent, without it being overpowering in the slightest. Its perfect for the size of room, and the sub fits really well without looking out of place. Its very understated look makes it very subtle too. The nice thing is is that the woofer is at the bottom of the unit so it doesn't matter which way you place the unit, theres no impact to sound quality in the slightest. Really pleased with ht epurchase.

Enhanced listening
I bought Dali Opticon speakers for a new, smaller house. Good sound, but not as sophisticated as the larger KEF speakers they needed to replace. The addition of the Dali sub base added a level of smoothness and roundness to the overall sound, exactly what was needed.

Deep Bass from a Compact Subwoofer
I have been using my current system (Marantz PM6007 amplifier connected to a pair of Dali Oberon 1 speakers) for the last year and I have always been very pleased with the sound. Just before Christmas I decided to add a subwoofer and because I have always been happy with the Oberons I chose the Dali C8D.
Having placed the C8D in a corner at the front of the room, I connected it to the amp using a subwoofer cable into the left Line Input. For info, the settings I used on the subwoofer were: Power Mode - Auto, Phase - 0, Crossover - 80Hz, Volume - approx 8 o'clock. Using these settings the C8D blends perfectly with my current setup. The sound is richer and fuller than before with a good but not overbearing bass. The addition of the subwoofer has definitely improved the sound, turning a good system into a great system. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and definitely recommend the C8D.

Superb bass.
I have had my sub woofer for two weeks which i purchased from Richer sounds to compliment my Phillips 55"OLED936/12 tv. The Bowers & Wilkins sound system attached to the tv, has gone from being great to totally amazing. The sound on music & films take listening to a whole new level. I totally recommend this sub woofer to any ones sound system or tv.

Very impressive kit
I finally have a speaker set up that matches my Yamaha RX-A680 Atmos receiver. Wonderful natural sound stage. I can now hear the vocals in the centre much clearer than before. I was initially opting for the Q Acoistics kit but paying a bit extra was definitely worth it.
