The original DALI Katch was one of the best Bluetooth speakers in its class. The Katch G2 takes all that’s great about the original – great sound, unique style and long battery life – and makes it even better. Improvements to the sound, connectivity and battery life simply make the best better still.
Enhanced connectivity
Bluetooth’s sound quality has greatly improved over the past few years. With support for aptX HD, aptX and AAC, the Katch G2 maximises the format’s potential – giving you improved realism, detail and depth of sound over earlier versions. There’s still a 3.5mm AUX input, too. Combine this with the USB charging socket, and it makes the ideal pairing for connecting an audio streaming device, such as a Chromecast Audio dongle.
Class-leading sound
Using a long-throw DALI woofer, soft dome tweeter and ABR (Auxiliary Bass Radiator), the Katch G2 delivers a smooth, dynamic sound. For enhanced detail and reduced distortion, the cabinet now features internal speaker divides, giving each speaker the room to ‘breathe’.

For a true stereo sound, connect two Katches together, wirelessly. This is ideal for larger rooms, parties or simply for enjoying the music as it was originally intended – in spacious stereo sound.

This Dali certainly delivers
I have owned 5 different Bluetooth speakers over the years, including those from premium brands. The latest Dali beats them all hands down for musicality. The sound is exceptionally clear and even the bass end is controlled and satisfying.
If you add in the good looks and what appears to be great build quality this unit becomes great value for money.

Already sounds good
I collected the Dali Katch G2 from Richer Sounds in Cardiff earlier today. I got it home, set it up, which was simplicity itself, and I’m already impressed with the quality of the sound coming from this speaker. I’m sure it’ll sound even better once it’s been run in. A big shout has to go out to the staff in the Cardiff branch. I’ve bought numerous items from there in the past, and on each occasion, the customer service can only be described as outstanding. I refuse to go anywhere else for my audio visual needs.

Great sound, clear bass, a little lost outdoors
I bought this to replace an old Bose sound link mini. The sound definitely has more “depth” to it, I would guess this is mainly due to the speakers facing both directions. This is great in indoor settings although the sound becomes a little lost when used outdoors.
Bass is always adequate and a lot more defined than with the Bose although the two preset EQ settings have lost the speaker one star, an option for a flat response would have been ideal, some music just didn’t work with either setting and so I had to mess around with EQ on phone.
Feels solid and well built and a doddle to connect to. Considering buying a second one to have a very portable true stereo system

It's an expensive single blutooth speaker but well worth the money. It sounds clear and well defined whether playing classical music, rock, or audiobooks.

The reviews weren’t lying!!
After a long a trusted listening experience with my B&W T7 Bluetooth speaker which had travelled thousands of miles with me and entertained family and friends for both music and movies, i decided to hand ‘said brick’ down to my children. It was time for dad to treat himself to a modern Bluetooth speaker. One with a slightly better frequency response a wider sound stage (the T7 only emits sound from the front of the unit) and possibly look in the future to pair a pair in a stereo set up. Battery life was important, powerbank usb charging for an iPhone with an apple battery life of two minutes! Also increasingly important but ultimately the sound quality was highest on the list of needs. The favourable reviews whathifi gave the Dali and the classy looks, coupled with the VIP club savings were a deal closer. The Katch g2 sounds amazing with the bass radiators doing their thing, rich and full bodied midrange, crisp notes towards the upper kHz too. The katch has already been on its first trip (in its included travel bag) and I can’t seem to remove from my desk since returning back from holiday either… and that speaks volumes imo. Would recommend the chilli blue colour too - smart.
