Great bookcase speakers that work well on a shelf.
Very clear/precise sound. Not too "booming". Quite like the look of them. Have them sitting on a shelf rather than on stands and this seems to work well. They did need a clearance of c.10-15cms from the back wall to keep the clarity.

Compact, and sound great.
Had to replace my B+W, speakers as they were 36 years old, and starting to get crackly. Also very bulky. So plumped for these bookshelf speakers, after some good advice.

Beautifully balanced and warm sound
We went along to the RS in London Bridge, wanting to pair some bookshelf speakers with our Denon DM38 (also bought from RS many years ago and still working like a dream)
We were originally thinking of the Dali Spektor 2s. Paul from the store kindly wired up a pair, but we didn't like the sound (they didn't sound much different from our existing Cambridge Audio S30s). He wired up a few more and then suggested the Oberon 1s - which we were hesitant to try out as we weren't too sure of the Dali sound.
But we were pleasantly surprised - they sounded beautifully balanced, across a diverse range of frequencies, with a touch of warmth. We are hearing new sounds that our older and smaller speakers couldn't define.
Dali recommend placing these at ear-level which we have done and they sound absolutely amazing, (we largely listen to streamed music.)
Really appreciated Paul's help (and patience!) in allowing us to try a few sets of speakers with our varied taste of music!
We also left the store with a discounted pair of JBL Control 1s which sound far better than I would have thought!

Had a demo in Norwich store, was made welcome and had someone who was knowledgeable about the product I was looking at.
He waylaid some of my concerns,and I walked away with a new pair of bookshelf speakers.
I have them set up and running well, with LP's filling my front room with a fantastic sound quality.
