With compact dimensions the Opticon 1 MK2 is ideal for a wide range of uses. Perfect as a quality speaker in a smaller room and even good enough to be used as a desktop monitor for music producers, the Opticon 1 MK2 is a true reference performer. Alternatively, the Opticon 1 MK2s can be used as satellite speakers for a breathtakingly impressive high-end home cinema speaker system.
Improved drive units for the finest sound
Featuring low-loss, wood fibre SMS woofers that are found in DALI's reference grade speakers and a brand new soft dome tweeter derived from the Callisto range, the Opticon 1 MK2 sounds better than ever. Designed for precision and accuracy of sound, the Opticon lets you hear the music exactly as the artist intended.
Dual Flare port for smooth, powerful bass
MK2 Opticon models feature a revised, Dual Flare port. Redesigning the port has delivered an optimised bass response, without creating undue turbulence that can distort the sound. The result is a richer bass at all volume levels.
Made in Denmark. Assembled in pairs
Rather than 'buying in' cabinets, Dali produces the Opticon cabinets in-house. This means they can be sure of the quality and consistency of build. The solid cabinets are designed for low levels of resonance giving low distortion and help to promote a natural sound. Assembled in pairs, the manufacturing process ensures the speakers are as closely matched as possible – meaning you get evenly balanced sound and the best visual match.

Absolutely thrilled
From my first visit, the help that was provided by the team was brilliant. I only knew I wanted to hear my vinyl records again, yes the ones that had been languishing in storage for longer than I wish to remember . The recommendation of a whole system, the opportunity to hear what I could expect at home, and then hear the difference between various speakers, so that I could have the best possible audio for a bit more than my original budget. But, wow, am I happy. My vinyl sound like the musicians are in my lounge, the sound separation is fabulous. One of my best purchases ever. I couldn't be happier. Amazing!
This is my second review for these speakers, the first one appeared, then disappeared into the ether!
Ordered these from the Brighton store and arrived the following day - great service as usual from RS.
I upgraded from my Dali Zensor Pico's to these little beauties. I have limited space so stands are out of the question, so these are ideal because they can be wall mounted.
After running them in for a week with various forms of music these speakers sound amazing with crystal clear vocals, and bass better than I imagined for a small speaker, although I run them with a REL Tzero Mk.2 sub to deepen the bass a bit.
Very happy with my purchase, definitely recommended.

Sound bigger than they look
These little Dali stand mounted speakers sound fabulous. They needed around 20 hours to play in, but now punch way above their weight. Sweet top, clean middle and surprisingly solid bass for their size. My ultimate test is whether a new piece of hifi actually makes me listen to more music: I could happily sit and listen to these Dali Opticon 1 Mk2 speakers all day.

Extensive Knowledge
Although I'm still waiting for the centre to arrive, the system sounds and looks great. It fits perfectly in the apartment and looks the business. Very happy with the recommended Arcam AVR10, REL HT1003 and Dali Opticon 1 Mk 2 set up. It has a warm yet detailed sound making viewing content truly immersive. But none of this would have been possible without the recommendations from Terry from the London Bridge, Richer Sounds. I came to you guys for advise and the best prices for high quality audio equipment and you certainly deliver.
