Room-friendly floorstander
Ideal for medium to larger rooms, DALI designed the Opticon 6 MK2 to be as flexible as possible. Able to operate effectively from just 20cm from a rear wall, the Opticon 6 MK2 is more room-friendly than other floorstanding speakers. Alternatively, if you've got the space, the 6 MK2's are just as happy at up to a metre from the wall. Impressive as stereo speakers, the Opticon 6 MK2's also make ideal front speakers for a high-end home cinema system.
Ribbon tweeters for the finest clarity
The Opticon 6 MK2's use ribbon tweeters paired with improved dome tweeters for sensational results. With the ribbon tweeters handling the very highest frequencies - most of which can't even be heard by the human ear - the conventional tweeter is freed up to handle lower frequencies. This means less harmonic compression and a high frequency that can 'breathe'. What you hear is an effortless treble performance full of rich detail and free from harshness.

Stunning Speakers
My 20 year old Quad 12L's, 15 year old Linn Sneaky and 12 year old Project RPM 5 and Rotel RA 10 were showing their age. What started as a simple cartridge upgrade resulted in a major upgrade.
Thanks to Sam and the team in the Manchester store the RPM5 with Ortofon Red quintet was upgraded to the Project XB1 with Ortofon Blue Quintet and Project S3B Phono Amp with XLR cables. Next came the Amp and Speakers, a decision between the Roksan Caspian and the Cambridge Audio CXA81 both with XLR inputs, I went for the Roksan. Speaker wise I was recommended the Dali Opticon 6 MK2 and compared these in the demo against the slightly more expensive but impressive looking Fyne F502's. I went for the Dali's.
Excellent service and help from Sam who initiated a home visit to set it all up. Which was very much appreciated. From beginning to the end the service was very personal.
The new setup is sounding superb.Hearing so much more from my vinyl, guitars crisper and vocals have more depth. The Linn Sneaky has a second lease of life. Although I am considering the Cambridge Audio CXN100 Streamer later this year.

Big thank you to Dan and Richer Sounds Kingston for their excellent service ! Dan’s help, advice and patience with us in the listening room was much appreciated. Dali Opticron paired with a Cambridge Audio amp is a winning combination.

DALI OPTICON 6 MK2 (Satin Black) - great sound
We bought these speakers a week ago and we absolutely love them. Our previous speakers were Bose 901's which had given very good service for 18 years! However the new Dali speakers had a much higher top end due the the combination of domed tweeters and ribbon tweeters. The base is also good, they are very natural and even all through the range. We love them!

Great upgrade from Dali Oberon 5
I bought a Roksan Caspian Mk2 amplifier some months ago, but never felt my Dali Oberon 5 speakers did deliver the improved sound I was expecting. After a demo in the Edinburgh branch with Tomasz, I opted for the Dali Opticon 6 Mk2. I have now had the speakers for almost a week, and although I am still running them in, they are starting to come alive. I wanted more "oomph" (read "bass"), and these speakers have given me that. They seem to go very well with the amplifier and works so much better in my medium/big sized room. Listening to one of my favourite records, "The Wall", this morning and I had a tear in my eyes; that is how good my sound now is from my Hi-Fi.

Clarity is exceptional with a great balance
I bought these speakers about a month ago, after a demonstration in the shop. At home the clarity is exceptional, even when I turn the volume up a notch or two! the balance of bass and treble is brilliant. It is equally at home with cd, radio and especially vinyl. Easy set up and I now hear things on tracks I have not heard before. Super impressed and very very happy.

Enjoying my new speakers
I’ve had these speakers for a couple of weeks and am still marvelling at all the new things I can hear on all my old records. I can now hear clear lyrics on songs that have puzzled me for decades. Why didn’t I upgrade sooner!
