Featuring a built-in PVR (Personal Video Recorder), you can record up to 500 hours of standard definition TV or up to 250 hours HD TV. With a suitable dish (wideband LNB), you can record up to four programmes simultaneously or watch one while recording three others. The built-in hard drive also allows for additional functionality, such as pausing and rewinding live TV – perfect for pausing TV to make a drink, or replaying a crucial TV moment.
All your favourite catch-up TV services

Great recorder, picture & sound excellent.
Bought the 1TB Freesat recorder as my old recorder went green. Luckily I have a sky dish, I dumped sky as they hike your monthly cost. It’s easy to connect to the dish, just 2 cables & the box updates easily. I can record 3 & watch 1 or record 4 & watch Netflix which I also have. It works out much cheaper than sky. The guys at Richer sounds were excellent & helped me setting it up.

Excellent Sevice from purchase to Installation
I bought the new top-of-the-range Samsung TV with a free soundbar from the Chelsea branch. Loic was most helpful in giving advice and putting me in touch with the Cardiff branch to install it in Caerphilly, where I live. The experience was excellent, and I highly recommend purchasing from Richer Sounds. They really care about their customers and repeat business.

Smart TV; needs a simple user guide
User Interface improved over our previous Samsung TV.
Standard Remote Control preferred to the Smart Remote Control.
A simple printed user guide, in addition to the one page list of buttons on the remote control would have been better than trying to find help in the 277 page user guide online.
All the right connections present to satellite aerial, freesat recorder (which the shop failed to sell us initially), Ethernet connection and external speaker optical connection (consistent with the Amplifer we had bought some years ago from Richer Sounds) but it helped to have an engineer experienced in satellite connection doing our installation.
We don’t expect to be using the « smart » functions.
Great sound and picture quality giving the display a natural appearance.
