At the heart of the CD6007 is a new, high quality DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor). This not only maximises the sound from your CDs, but is also compatible with Hi-res music files – right up to 192 KHz/24bit – ideal when used in conjunction with the USB socket.

New digital filters
Combined with the new DAC, a brand new two-mode filter lets you tune the CD player’s sound to suit your taste. Filter 1 enhances depth whereas filter 2 gives a sharper, more precise sound.

Hi-res audio compatible USB
At the front of the CD6007 is a Hi-res compatible USB interface. Connect your USB media storage device and play back a wide range of digital music files – making the most of the Marantz’s sophisticated digital technology. Compatible with MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, FLAC HD, ALAC and AIFF files, the CD6007 makes a great hub for your Hi-res music playback.

Top quality headphone amp – built-in
If you listen to headphones, you’ll be impressed by the CD6007’s built-in headphone amp. The improved amp features Marantz’s bespoke HDAM-SA2 circuitry with three settings (Low/Mid/High) for the perfect match with almost any pair of headphones. Combined with the dedicated volume control, this gives you total control of your headphones, without the need for any additional amp.

Connects to all systems
Gold-plated RCA outputs provide a high quality, low resistance connection to your amp. If you’re using an AVR or digital amp, you also have the option of optical and coaxial digital outputs. Supplied with a system remote control, just a single controller is required to operate a full Marantz system.

I call ed up to enquire and they suggested the Marantz CD5007. They arranged a demo and checked that all CD-R that I had would play. The sound was brilliant and now I have it installed it is even better than I expected. It is a good solid build with excellent tone. Super service and a great player.
