Award-winning heritage
Following a secession of award-winning 6-series amplifiers, the Marantz PM6007 doesn’t disappoint. Just like its predecessors, the PM6007 matches smooth, powerful sound with first-rate system flexibility – letting you connect all your digital and analogue components.
Class-leading sound – made better
With a new output and DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor), the PM6007 sounds better than ever. Designed for lower distortion and a faster, cleaner sound, the latest Marantz amp features Marantz’s bespoke HDAM-SA3 technology. HDAM (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module) circuits replace basic op-amps, massively outperforming them. They promote lower noise for a more precise, detailed and dynamic sound – meaning you get to hear your music just as the artist intended.
The power to perform
Fed by a toroidal power transformer, Shottky barrier diodes provide a high current supply. This means you get effortless power and punchy dynamics. Whether you’re into Classical, stadium rock, dance or movie soundtracks, the PM6007 easily delivers an immersive, room-filling sound.
Digital inputs with selectable filter
Twin opticals join a coaxial input, giving you a total of three digital inputs – perfect for your CD/DVD player, streamer and TV. The new AK4490 DAC offers Hi-res compatibility – right up to 192 kHz/24bit. The PM6007 introduces new digital filters. Filters 1 and 2 tune the sound from digital components, giving enhanced depth or precision.
Connect your analogue sources – including turntable
It isn’t just the digital processing that’s been improved. A revised phono pre-amp uses technology from the PM700N model, lowering distortion and noise. The result is greater clarity from your vinyl, with a purer, less veiled sound. Four line level inputs and a recorder output complete the tally, giving you a grand total of eight audio inputs – easily enough for the most advanced systems.
New subwoofer output
Another new feature with the PM6007 amp is the dedicated subwoofer output. This lets you connect your choice of active subwoofer, for even more powerful sound. As before, there are two sets of, individually controlled speaker outputs, giving you the option of a set of speakers in another room.
With better sound and flexibility, the Marantz PM6007 is a centre of excellence for your entire system.

New stereo
I bought this a few weeks ago and am very happy with the sound. I was surprised that it didn't have blue tooth connection, but otherwise have no complaints.

First ever Richer products which is a murr
First of all, I had a delivery issue which was outside of Richer sounds control but they were fantastic in sorting.
This was a replacement for a Richer sounds purchased Cambridge Audio Azur 650A which failed. ( And seemed to to in the same price bracket.) I loved this system which seemed to punch well above its weight. By comparison the Marantz unit is a disappointment. it feels cold and mechanical. First time in being a Richer sound customer in 30 years that I have thought this is a backward step.

Marantz CD6007 and PM6007 Amplifier
Yesterday after connecting Cambridge Audio cables to my old B&W speakers, I had the delight of having the Bill Evans Trio playing Moonbeams for me as a special personal performance. Well, it sounded like it anyway, Wow, what a difference. I am enjoying my music collection all over again - it sounds totally new: notes that are clean and separate from each other, deep bass, bits that I haven't heard before. Other CDs revealed Celtic folk music with beautiful delicate harp strings; vocals that are clear; live jazz performances that made me feel I was there - I could go on! And this is straight from the box before fiddling with any filters.
Turntable connected, I put on a vinyl: ( 'Suite for Flute and Jazz piano' by Claude Bolling ) - it was lively and exciting. Look, I am no techy expert but I know what I like and I like what I hear now. Very much.
Absolutely thrilled with no pressure purchase and with helpful service and advice from Richer Sounds - beyond good customer service. I was a bit nervous choosing a new system after decades of older equipment but I needn't have worried. Richer Sounds held my hand during the process and answered my questions without pressure or making me feel an idiot. Thank you

Excellent amp
I agonised over getting a new amp after pairing an old Nad3020e with new Dali speakers and being very happy with the sound primarily playing HD digital tracks but I had an itch and decided to scratch it with this Marantz. There is a lovely clean open sound with this amp and as much as I tried to convince myself the Nad was it's equal, it's not...I'm still unsure if I can sell it though! The Nad has a softish, warm almost dreamy delivery whereas the PM6007 is accurate and clean, certain tracks almost smack you in the face with detail and even though I have an older SVS PB1000 sub, I've not really bothered with it being as the bass is delivered so well. The remote is OK but really only useful for volume and input changes, connectivity wise it does what I need it to so all good in that respect. It feels substantial, looks good, sounds great and I'm sure will please most people who give it a listen to.
