With its twin 7” bass woofers, the Premier 820F v2 produces deep, visceral bass that does justice to the most dynamic music. The CARBON-X ultra-high-excursion cones produce bass that’s not just deep but also fast-paced and hard-hitting, giving these speakers a thrilling vitality with all music genres.
AL-MAG midrange driver delivers lifelike vocals
Packed with innovative technology, the midrange/bass driver reproduces natural and lifelike vocals. The cone uses an alloy of aluminium and magnesium (AL-MAG) for ideal sonic characteristics. The sound is channelled through Paradigm’s PPA (Perforated Phase-Aligning) lens for pin-point accuracy and cohesion, ensuring that the sound is blended as accurately as possible by the time it reaches your ears.
AL-MAC tweeter for sparkling top end response
Using a sophisticated blend of aluminium, magnesium and ceramic, the Premier’s tweeter design is perfectly tuned for a detailed yet smooth top end performance. It has PPA for accuracy and precision. In addition to this, the tweeter features an OSW (Oblate Spherical Waveguide) that guides the soundwaves towards the listening position and away from the room’s peripheries, giving you a highly focused top end response.
Stability at the sharp end
For high-performance isolation and support, the Premier 820F v2 is fitted with adjustable Outrigger Shock-Mount isolation Feet. Taking inspiration from Paradigm’s flagship models, the system effectively decouples the speakers from the floor, reducing vibrations and resonance. By isolating the cabinet, you get to enjoy a cleaner, more detailed sound. For the best contact with all surfaces, the 820F v2 includes both machined spikes for carpets and protective rubber caps for hard surfaces.
High efficiency design for wide-ranging system versatility
High room sensitivity (93 dB) makes these speakers easy to drive and undemanding for lower powered amplifiers. This makes them the ideal choice for pairing with pure Class A or valve amps that might have a power output of around just 15 - 25 watts.
