Compact sub
Ideal for smaller rooms and apartments, the Tzero MKIII gives you the famous REL bass depth and timing, but without the bulk and ultimate volume of their larger models. It makes the perfect complement to a small pair of hi-fi speakers, a compact AV system or even a soundbar/base with subwoofer output.
All-new aluminium driver for punchier sound
Always a hard-hitter for its size, the MKIII version of this classic sub is now fitted with an improved woofer, for even punchier bass. With its aluminium cone, the woofer combines the ideal talents of rigidity and light weight. This makes it fast and responsive, meaning you get a bass with a spring in its step, for perfect rhythm and timing.
Bass power for smaller rooms
Although best suited to smaller, rather than larger rooms, the Tzero delivers impressive bass depth for its size. Featuring a 100 watt, Class D amplifier, this subwoofer easily improves the response of most standmount speakers and even some smaller floorstanders, too.
Ideal for twin sub installations
Many of today's AV receivers offer the ability to connect two subwoofers in a .2 configuration. As two smaller subs provide a more even spread of sound and greater agility, this can be a tempting option for many. Wife friendly hifi
Had a larger REL before but found it cumbersome and difficult to place. I didn’t need earth moving bass so the smaller REL does the job for us just as well but is so much easier to accommodate. Also being smaller much less visually imposing.

Great sound with one slight issue
Bought this to add to my Monitor Audio Silver 50 speakers. It really makes a difference, adding the deep bass that is missing from bookshelf speakers. Obviously it doesn't go as low as bigger units, but lower frequencies make subs harder to place in a room, this unit was very easy. It easily fills my room measuring 5 by 3.5 metres with the level set to about a third.
It looks lovely in the gloss white and is nice and small. The only issue I had was the badge fell off when I lifted it out the box, but this wasn't an issue as I've used some blutack for now and maybe I will glue it on at a later date.

Just the right size for my setup - good deep base and easy to setup. Even though it’s small it still delivers great sound and you have the option of where the crossover point is. Great price and fast delivery.

First class service
I was looking for a pair of speakers to go with my recently purchased Naim Uniti Atom, purchased from Richer Sounds a couple of months previously.
The guys at Richer Sounds took the time to let me listen to stock speakers that fitted my requirements. When I couldn't decide on which pair of two sets, i was given plenty of time to listen to a variety of tracks, switching between speakers.
I was really grateful for the help given and absolutely love my amp / speaker set-up.

Punches way above its weight
I purchased this on the recommendation of the sales person in my Milton Keynes branch. I previous had a large 10" speaker sub woofer which was, with hindsight, very boomy and lacking in tunefulness. This was my requirement with the sales person along with my budget. When I got it home, it didn't take too long to set up (I used RCA Music input). There are three input types, RCA for audio or LFE (low frequency effects) and a Neutrik that connects to left/right/ground output stages of an amplifier.
Initially, I was surprised at the size and expected to have to really put the volume of this device up to make an impact. How wrong I was.
The sound form this device is very musical and fits in with my satellites perfectly. I fully recommend this sub if you have a smaller to mid sized room and you prefer your bass to sound musical than explosive.

Rel tzero subwoofer.
I recently bought the rel tzero subwoofer from richer sounds at Jamaica street in Glasgow. I have to say that the service is excellent and the guys are very knowledgeable about all hi,fi. The tzero subwoofer from rel is a very good piece of kit. It's brought out the bottom end. I am running a Roksan K2 amplifier Denon DAC wharfedale 12.2 diamonds technics sl1210 gr turntable that I recently bought from richer sounds and David at the Jamaica street branch in Glasgow was great as he set up the stylus which was the Ortofon 2m blue which was a great suggestion from David after I asked about the pairing of said turntable and stylus and its excellent. I am using all cardas interconnects throughout my system and its outstanding now since I added the rel tzero subwoofer which is just the right direction I needed to bring out the bottom end. So I can't thank the guys as the Jamaica street branch of richer sounds enough. I would highly recommend them for all your hi,for needs.
