Product Information
Standing tall, the Scansonic M40 has the power to rock the house.
M40 – Slim but tall floorstander that’s designed for full-range power
Despite its small footprint of just 22 x 29.5cm, the Scansonic M40 packs in four dedicated woofers for serious bass power. This means that although the speaker is easy to place, it’s also powerful enough for every type of dynamic music, from full orchestral to stadium rock. It also easily fills larger rooms with smooth, powerful sound.
Ribbon tweeters for a super-detailed top end
Featuring high-end ribbon tweeters, the M40 captures the most subtle detail. With a top end response stretching right up to 40,000Hz, there’s less dynamic compression, which gives you smoother, more natural harmonics for a low distortion, lifelike sound.
Honeycomb structured woofers for low distortion
Secret to the M40’s punchy, upbeat sound are the twin, honeycomb structured, glass fibre woofers. These lightweight but ultra-rigid cones produce a fast and pacey sound that’s also very low in distortion. They’re especially impressive with vocals, clearly expressing every vocal texture.
Dedicated woofers for deeper bass
A further two woofers in each speaker help improve the speaker’s efficiency, giving a more balanced sound – especially at lower volumes. The dedicated woofers also extend the bass reach, giving you a much deeper, more powerful sound at all volume levels.
Braced cabinet
Heavily braced cabinets ensure the lowest distortion possible. For improved efficiency and deeper bass at lower volumes, the cabinets are rear ported.
Silk finishes
The crisp lines are further enhanced by a choice of silk white or silk black finishes. Stylish, removable grilles give the M40s a unique design appeal. For stable positioning, outrigger feet with spikes are supplied.
Feel the full force of the music, without speakers that dominate the room, with the Scansonic M40.
